Stuff like this harks way back to a time when ITV children's TV department actually knew what they were doing regarding showing good stuff, CITV has sucked since the mid 90s IMO, when stuff like Knightmare finished.

Takes me right back to my childhood in the 70's...LOVED this programme! They don't bloody make kids shows like they used to. I grew up in the best decade for kids tv. BRILL!!!!

I live in Partington a few miles away. I was actually there today. Yes, I remember the sign now, but I bet nearly everyone still calls it "Stretford Arndale".

In one of the episodes Queen Doris says, "There's no such place as Chorlton!"

I live in Manchester a few miles away from Chorlton-cum-Hardy. This is one of my favourite TV shows. I always smile when I see the sign that leads to "Chorlton" :)
