Especially when you race a GTR like this, on street tires and he is just driving it like it's a video game while you are in the M3, with drag radials on fighting for traction. If I had more traction, I would go bigger turbo and injectors and make more power if I wanted to.

I need to get me a HPF kit for my M. For the guys with HPF kits.. Do you usually send the cars back to Oregon for the required services and maintenance or do you use a certified HPF dealer? I would love to be able to get my car to Oregon every time for maintenance/service but it isn't practical. Furthermore, would the outstanding warranty be void if I was to use a certified hpf dealer then I had an engine failure or something like that?

M3 has never done great at the 1/4 simply because it can not fit big tires for traction or get that great of a launch. The HPF company car plans to change that this weekend at Mfest so we will see.. @tactikoolaid ok lets be honest, both AMS alpha 9 and Switzer P800 are the only things that u can put into a GTR to produce ~800 BRAKE horsepower and those are probably the best mod brands for the GTR right now I could tell you, and this is only the HPF stage 2.5, stage 3 will be around 820 REAR WHEEL horsepower so let alone stage 4 !

Im very respect the Nissan GTR but to compare AMS or Switzer to HPF is not even close, not offence to those good brands but HPF know what they doing: 1000 rwhp M3

@tactikoolaid Traction isn't bad, although I spun a bit on the top of 3rd in this run. I am running 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson ET Street II's. On my trip to the strip where I hit 11.3 @137, I broke a axle/half shaft, once I fix it it (upgrade it and my driveshaft) I will go back and see if I can better my time and trap now that colder weather is here and the car wont break things. At least I hope the diff holds up!
