Yeah, they're called Chinooks, the U.S. military uses them A LOT. Where I live, you can see them fly past sometimes; they are usually about a klick away.

The British seem to love this helicopter. Is it faster than the Osprey V22? I know some have questioned the V22s performance, but one benefit it does have is that it is faster.

I was surprised to find out that the Chinook flies faster than an Apache.
