  • i can safely say that none of this bullshit would have happened if tobacco was just for all ages

  • this is why i live in canada, where they dont even give a fuck, well a small fuck on flavored cigarettes, but thats it

  • Menthol cigarettes are still legal. And the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act was signed into law on June 23rd 2009 not 2008

  • Thank you for providing a much needed public service. The Traditional Cigar Manufacturing & Small Business Jobs Preservation Act should be supported by everyone who enjoys a cigar or any tobacco product and anyone who values the government not playing nanny.

  • blame the irresponsible kids, not the sellers of cigars

  • I think tobacco shops in Canada are exempt from this ban, because I went into a tobacco shop in Quebec and the tobacco was on display and there was no three ring binder etc

  • @SmokingEssy7887 Certain places in Canada have open tobacco displays, it depends on the province, quebec can have open displays, along with other provinces, Alberta and BC have banned open display and are using the 3 ring binder.

  • @Capitanvolume ah I see Ontario's the same as Quebec

  • Looks like that turd Waxman is at it again.........he's a reformed smoker of the worst kind....word was some years ago he was requesting credit from Lou Rothman of JR Cigars for cigars.....apparently he got in over his head and wanted this debt written off as a campaign contribution, since he is a career politician....Waxman is an ideal indication of what is wrong with American politics.............

  • Actually in Canada or at least in Ontario there is some walk in humidors so you're wrong on that part....

  • Oh, and by the way, it looks like the corona cigar company has lost my business. They want to ban cigarillos. I smoke cigarillos daily if i don't smoke a "real" cigar, and they want to ban them?! Although I support saving cigars, losing cigarillos is just as bad. It looks my humidor won't see a corona cigar for a while...

  • Why bother?! this country is no longer ran by the people. Proof: Over 80% out of 100% of the United State's population demanded legalization of marijuana in 1999. It failed. Why? because the government couldn't profit off of it. There is TONS of evidence that Obama was NOT from American, and he isn't out of office, much less not in jail. The presidential election is rigged, the electoral college has casts their vote towards the person THEY wanted in office. Looks like my humidor will be useless.

  • IF THEY BAN AND TAKE MY CIGARETS I WILL GO APE SHIT ON OBAMA

  • @Akazzzle Obama's not doing shit, and you misspelled "cigarettes"

  • sounds like the gun buy back in australia in 2004, Big Brother Knows best, im an adult and i will choose for myself wot i will consume and not wot some government will let me do,

  • Damnit! I dont want to see my favorite filtered cigars get banned or my favorite cigarillos they need to do somthing about this quick or cigar buisnesses and retailers will be hurting and will not know what to do. This is just great just goes to show how mean the FDA and anti smoking people can be. This country is going down the drain with so many regulations and bans its rediculous what they come up with to try to rewen anyones buisness and company.

  • Great... just great!

  • I honestly would not mind if they got rid of crappy cigars like swishers Djarums etc... But I like a black and mild. But hey maybe they would just make them with real tobacco leaf instead! in that case that would be a win. But what the FDA really needs to do is make additives in butts illegal. That stuff is addiction and cancer causing.

  • Great video

  • Great video and I agree with you on everything. Our country is headed into the ground. Fuck this new world order

  • Well put! The laws are getting ridiculous aswell as this economy. Why drag it down with petty issues. Soon they will make caffine illegal.

  • Another point. ALL smokers of ALL tobacco products should stick together. Tobacco is tobacco and the damned head hunters are out to ban all of it. Pipe smokers, cigar smokers, cigarette smokers should ALL stick together and do what we can to protect it ALL. The idiotic feds succeed in banning one...the others will not be far behind.

  • tobacco kills more people than alcohol, obesity, terrorism, illegal drugs, obesity, aids and all wars COMBINED! Tobacco kills 10 million people a year and over half a million people die from 2nd hand smoke!

    Theres NOTHING good about tobacco

  • @KripDrip That's got nothing to do with this whatsoever. It's the freedom of choice that's being taken from people. Where are they going to stop? Are they going to tell obese people they can't buy french fries or ice cream? If they get away with taking freedom of choice in any matter do you seriously think they will stop there? Another point. How do you think the feds will make up for the loss of revenue if tobacco is ever outlawed? Taxes. YOUR taxes.

  • @KripDrip Actually, alchool is more harmful to you and society than tobacco.

  • what r u talking about? Tobacco KILLS 450,000 americans while alcohol only kills 75,000 americans. Not only that but only 19 percent of the population smokes while almost everybody drinks. Theres no comparison which is deadlier!

  • @KripDrip The sun can kill you too. Ya know, skin cancer and that. Go whine about that or something.

  • @KripDrip that's because most american's smoke cigarettes or use chew or dip. There is no such thing as moderate cigarette smoking (unlike cigar or pipe smoking) once you are hooked you all you want to do is smoke cigarettes or dip all day long, cigarettes are so deadly because not only do inhale them (unlike a pipe or cigar) but they thousands of added cancer causing chemicals, to make it brief I hate cigarette and DO NOT considered them REAL tobacco products

  • @KripDrip correction CIGARETTES kill over 400,000 Americans each year, cigars kill roughly 10,000 Americans and pipes kill around 8,000 people, in other words cigars and pipes kill far less people than alcohol

  • thats only cause very few people smoke cigars compared to cigarettes. The cigar market is extremely small compared to the cigarette market. Its no safer. If just as many people smoked cigars and smoked them frequently like cigarettes, there would be a lot more cigar related deaths.

  • @KripDrip true but remember people don't usually inhale cigars or smoke them as much as cigarettes which greatly lowers the risk of heart disease and lung cancer as well as other lung related problems. Many health studies say that an average cigar smokers mortality rate is very similar to a non-smoker. George Burns smoked 10 cigars a day and lived to be 100, Sigmound Freud smoked 20 cigars day and a pipe and died of oral cancer at 83, you can't compare crappy cigarettes to expensive cigars

  • it doesnt matter. Cigars have tobacco which has carcinogens. It causes cancer! Cigars are not safe. They can kill you.

  • @KripDrip true again but let make very clear cigars have no additives in them (at least the handmade cigars) cigarettes have thousands of cancer causing chemicals added!!! That's why people so many people die from cigarettes. Anything can kill you let's start with alcohol, drunk driving (which can kill you and other people, cancer of the blood, oral cancer, liver cancer, extreme damage to the brain (espically if you're a child) completely destroying your liver, causing you to become violent.

  • @KripDrip Further more almost everything in this world can cause cancer! tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, any form of smoking, the sun, food, building materials, cell phones, power lines, food dyes, plastic, camp fires, BQQ grills, any form of smoke, drinking water, city air, chemical fumes, car fumes, prescription drugs, etc, etc, etc The world is filled with carcinogens tobacco just happens to be the hot topic right now

  • @KripDrip Those statistics are BS. There is no way to prove with 100% certainty that someones death was caused by tobacco use. Two of my uncles died of lung cancer. Their smoking was most likely a factor, but there is no way to prove it's what caused it. On the other hand, I have a friend with serious lung issues that may end up killing her. She never smoked a day in her life. As Mark Twain said "There are lies, damn lies, and statistics".

  • Damned ridiculous. Just like the damned government. Ridiculous!!!

  • For the Canada that truth for most of the place. for exemple if you go in a wallmart the cigarette and cigars, pipe tabaco. are hide in a closet where you can't see it.

For Cigars if you ask to the employed they will open the closet and show you the Cigar, bur they close it right after you have made your choose.

If you going in a real tabaco shop, the don't hide them... but under-age are not allow in these tabaco shop

I know because i live in Montréal, Quebec, Canada...

  • @houdinixp they sell cigars and pipe tobacco in walmart? hahahha thats sick! but minors arent allowed in smoke shops here either. Any tobacco sold in a shop where kids are allowed, its all behind a counter

  • @SimpleThings777 Eeh, I'l me honest, I go to tobacco shops to buy cigarettes (as well as cigars) and in Louisiana, I have never seen a "18 years of age or older" sign, and I bring my five year old son in as well if he is with me, and they have never said anything about it.

  • @lolley1100 up here they always have must be 18 or older to enter and what not, but like gas stations, ive seen smoke shops with signs like we card with a big 18. I go into liquor stores with my dad and im 18 they dont care, its when someone whos underage goes in with someone close of age they dont like and wont sell. Liquor or tobacco in most places

  • @SimpleThings777 Ah, well, I do live in Louisiana, lol

  • there is a cigar shop in windsor ontario, and you can walk in and do touch he cigars and everything, but our cigarettes are now behind sliding doors in all stores so that you can see them, same with cigars in gas stations and variety stores. and here they have stopped selling single cigarillos. and there are only a few brands that you can buy in 20 packs.

  • @bonhamsapprentice And our so called 'Sin Tax' is about 50 % and its rediculous, the sin tax also is added to alcohol

  • It's a never ending spiral, first cigarettes then cigars that are flavored. They'll say that because there are no flavored tobacco's that kids moved on to regular tobacco. and then they'll ban that. These idiots ruin pleasure for adults because kids are kids, kids are idiots. Hold irresponsible kids accountable, not sellers.

  • Very well stated. I applaud you for this excellent, informative and well-supported video.

  • @Killedkennyagain No I guess not... I wish the constitution was still a factor when people in government thought of things. *sigh*

  • Thank You Jeff for continuing to get the word out. Those that do nothing are part of the problem. I for one will visit my Rep this Thursday (again) to get him to save us mom and pops and stop hurting small businesses. BRAVO Jeff! Nice Job!

  • Great video! I love that you not only showed what is wrong but you showed a sensible and achievable solution. I'm writing my congressman right now!

  • Is half of this even constitutional?

  • @goodfellascigar Do you think constitutionality will prevent the government from doing it?
