for heelflips put your foot at an angle like u would a kickflip, that should help u get the flick of it down, it helped me, i just experimented until i got it down

i've given up doing kickflips and heelflips for good, i've probably watched over 100 kickflip / heelflip videos over 5 years and theres no way i can teach myself it, if i flick as off the pocket of the nose and deck i end up doing and ollie north, if i try flicking it even a little bit backwards i end up spearing my sack, if i do inbetween those two i do this weird ollie north pop shove it thing, i hate this trick but somehow i can still do pressure flips laser flips and hard flips >.>

you should just put more pressure to the tail with your leg but you shouldnt scoub it like you normal shuv-it or the pressure you put will make it spin more than you want

some people do that. but its not a good habit. a kid taught me to shove it before ollie and for like 3 months i couldnt ollie because i would always turn the board. i recommend learning olle first.
