I like both, but they are different. The more I hear WT, the more I like. And I'm no 10 yo. I like Tarja a lot too, but it is also different. The similarity is a fine-singing female vocalist.

@DeathUponMe84 Within Temptation's music is far more mature, complex and better written that Evanescence's music. Don't get me wrong, I love Evanescence, but that's the truth. Evanescence are your typical mainstream band, there's nothing else to it. I love both Ev and WT, so I can assure you this isn't a biased comment, it's just the truth.

@DeathUponMe84 Your not only sheep, but also ignorant. Mezzo soprano's are not bad, they are mid vocal range, but that is pretty much the starting zone for all classical singer's. If amy lee was to try to do soprano for instance, she would choke on it. @DeathUponMe84 Erm, they're not! Within Temptation had 2 albums out before Evanescence, if anything it's the other way round. The bands are very different. The only similarity is that they're female fronted and are Symphonic Metal.
