The carefree life, when you had the right to be happy and spontaneous.

As soon as you turn adult people start shouting about all kinds of "responsibility", you have to look for jobs 24/7 and only find temporary ones, and as soon as you get one people are instantly on you again as soon as you finish it - and while you're looking for jobs you have to see som employment agent.

I've seen and heard every song in the video, and I guess I can say I do not agree with many choices. However, I have to admit there is a big open range of themes, speaking of variety, which is actually quite representative of the whole several species of taste inmusic, so hard to put together as a unique amount of songs... Hmmm...I disagree that the 90's were ALL about grunge rock. The early 90's definitely had heavy 1980's influences, and grunge became popular for a time. It was still popular through until the end of the 90's, but bubblegum pop (Nsync, etc.) most definitely became a chart fixture from 1997 ish -2000. I would also venture to say that R and B also saw a rise in popularity, as well as rap.

However, I agree with you that the music in the 2000's is just a crime against nature.

I can agree with you my friend. Today's music is too sleazy and full of sex talk. Whatever happened to the love that was in music? That's what I miss. 90s music was great to listen and dance to. Today's music doesn't have the high octane energy that the 90s music had. Today's music just sounds the same like you said. Back then, music had different sounds that made diversity in music really good. Today, it's like they're following the same method. It's ridiculous. It's just not the same.

I just realized something. The Boy Bands back then actually had some nice songs out but their prefab over acted dance moves and basically the general choreography is what made the group seem a little fakey, back then lol and still now. Other than that they weren't bad at singing. Some were a bit too breathy but that was like, part of their signature. Ye heeeeah! LMAO!

However, the harmonies of N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys were actually pretty cool. They just got a bad rap because they weren't great dancers, yet gave the shot at it.
