Tribute? Why should I pay tribute to an airline that charges our soldiers baggage fees? That lies about its frequent flyer program ( very few seats available for a free trip...I tried 5 destinations for a year and found NONE unless I was paying). Why should I pay tribute to Delta giving my credit card info to its "customer service" in Pakistan? Delta is crap.

The lst leg of our trip was from Detroit to DAYTON. Something so simple. We were to board at 7;30 Sun. three hours later we board. We spend the next 3 and a half hours on the run way, we sat so long we had to refuel after that they cancell. Next flight was two days away. SO to hell with work or children. 8 am monday were finnally rent car to get to Dayton DRIVE HOME FROM THERE . Delta is by far the worst airline we have ever flown NEVER AGAIN ps Still trying to find luggage. Bunch of SHIT

They lost my baggage twice. Every Delta Employee in ATL was useless and all but one was rude. The 2nd time my bag was lost was back home - FNT. I was told 3 hours. I returned in 5 hours. no clerk. The 800 number told me clerks were not answering the phone. I walked over the counter and went into the back room where I found one sleeping and one apparently finishing a nap-she was straightening her clothes and looking a bit stunned Delta's answer - 3,700 FF miles. If they aren't on Airtran no thx.

Delta is gonna crash and burn in the furture in my oppion. The have almost every aircraft in there fleet. They just bought 6 MD-90s from China Southern. They have bad reviews(I flew Delta and hated it. Nver flying again) They will be bankrupt in the next 20 or so years. Buying out Northwest was a stupid idea and they just remodled the Delta SkyClub at LAX for around $500,000

It's true. Delta is known for missconnecting bags and got a bad rap for it. That was one of a few acronyms. Antoher was, D-ispersing E-veryones L-uggage T-through A-tlanta.

They are also known for one of the airlines who can't seem to be ontime on a regular basis.

I flew Delta a month ago and it was great. The flight attendants were nice and helpful and actually seemed to be happy. I was suprised to get a PTV-equipped 757 on a 3 hour flight from Boston to Atlanta. They don't have first checked bag fees and don't nickle and dime you as much as the other airlines. The B757-200 was really clean and for some reason the bathrooms have wood floors. Delta is great and I will definitely fly them again.

I've only been with Delta once, but for the one time, they did a good job. We almost got sent from Utah to friggin' Detroit during the extreme weather in December/January, but our pilot was able to get onto the ground before they closed the runway. And since I was a kid traveling by myself, they made sure I got to the right place on time. All that, and they still have REAL food on domestic flights. How great is that?
