Best sequence I have ever seen. This game took so much hand-eye coordination. How good were you at Cosmic Chasm by Cinematronics, another vector screen work of art?
Its from the video intensity from the monitor. My ship, the saucers, and shots from me and the saucers are at a higher intensity then the rest of the game. The camera picks it up like that as there is a slight glow from the plastic piece that they put over the monitor to add color.
Like some other great games at a certain score you get an extra life for everything you hit. It does a compare to see if you have scored over the level that it is keeping tract of. So at 990k your next extra life is at 0. You score something and it sees that you have more than 0 so you get an extra life. You can see in the upper middle where it says next extra ship it will go up 10k for everything that is hit.

The vectorbeam games were the best from the 80s. Real physics and no pixelation.

Great playing. I thought I was good, now I'm shattered. I understand the bonus at 10k, but how do you get so many bonus ships at one time?
