I'll tell you what, before the debates all I'd heard from both the liberal AND conservative media was that Ron Paul was a loon, but when I heard him in the debates he became my candidate. In my opinion he put the other empty suits in the dust & seemed to appeal to the best ideals in both the democrat & republican parties. So, debates are important to let us know who will represent us.
