A great song, a great singer, a great guitarist and a BIG rock and roll pioneer. He played with Hank Williams's Drifting Cowboys. The sound of his Vega guitar brings you definetely to the 50's. I have a rare German LP from the late 80's and was a great discover for me, and also a favourite LP. Thanks for posting, and greetings from Spain.
@americanliberal09 Yes man, you're right. That's country boogie for me also, I just meant he was a pioneer on rock'n'roll guitar players. Cheers from Spain.
This is my father!!! Thanks for putting his music back out there. I have many of his King recordings. You can also listen to a release of many of his recordings that were re released in 2002 called Tennessee Boogie & Jersey Rock. He was an instrumental part of bringing rock and roll to the nation...Rock on Daddy!
It only goes to show that no matter how many years you listen to music, you can still find a gem you have not heard before. I love this one. Great music, and vocals.
this guy made sum hot discs and should b remembered better.
