When i had to take my wife to the ER because she couldn't keep any food down for a couple days, the doctor was shocked when we told her. yep. that socialized medicine is a wonderful thing. might have caused us to have a miscarriage (luckily we caught it in time) but that's ok. it was free!

This vid is... powerful... But it lacks context; I'm not quite sure what he is angry about... I did some poking around and found that some bill by pelosi had a clause they would tell/advise parents on how to raise their kids (exact wording unknown), and was angry at the health care debacle of 09.

As a veteran myself... it was not that bad, at most we had to wait 4 hours average before we saw a doctor, but you were seen by a medic within 30 seconds of going in the clinic (when it was open) who would see if you had anything serious going on, and if you were wounded you bypassed the clinic and went straight to the ER. Honestly not that bad considering it was free, and good traning.(1/2)
@KaletheQuick On Health care (2/2): Of course the 09 health care bill did not actually give the average American healthcare socialized to such a level. It just made it a requirement for businesses to give you a health insurance plan, I also think it required you to have a plan, and provided for a govt run bare minimum plan for the poor and people working for small businesses. A key point of health insurance - the more people that have a plan, the cheaper it is.
