my mom heard this song a week before i was born and she knew she just had to name me after it of course instead of spelling it cherie the folks at the hospital wonked it up so its sheri :P but maybe one day ill change it lol i have a feeling my mother had a very unhealthy crush on mr chevalier as did my grandmother before her <3
@StewedTomato I adore this type of music, and I am 16 years old. So, no need in worrying my friend, because I can genuinely say that there is still a drop of hope for the younger generation! Although, I do know that the majority of the them are very much involved in the absurd music of today, but still there are many of us that have fallen in love with these "old tunes".
@bubbbb0 Thank you so very much for indeed offering the "older generation" great hope for the future! You can't imagine the great satisfaction your words bring, knowing that these gems are still being treasured!
The only other song I have is Louise by him. I see that is already posted on here. I am glad you liked it. It appears someone else is not as big as a fan. They rated it with 2 stars.
pax41: "Hello Beautiful" is on Youtube. "Louise" is great, not my favourite song, but well done. I don't understand why someone rates this song 2 stars. I give it 4. Not 5. Classic Chevalier, but just not my taste. Howver, I give you extra points for the presentation :)

@StewedTomato: It's not entirely hopeless. I'm 29, although I knew of Chevalier since I was 15.

Excellent! Do you have "Hello, Beautiful!" or "There Ought to be a Moonlight Saving Time" ? My faves from Chevalier!
