hi dude i have purchased the same halo headlight, i was wodering what kind of headlight is needed for me to replace if needed. hb4 9006 or something else? , hb4 was printed on the headlight so
@BMWDriverC101 sorry it seems like spam... i just wanna thank you because i didn't know if i should buy these... where did you get the extra weather protection? i live in illinois so we have snow to heat to rain to high wind... everything =(
So i have 96 honda civic cx and purchased the halo projector headlights without the leds and both of my rings dont light up jus the one in the middle does...
i have a 92 prelude with the halo lights.. what type of bulb to fix the high beam and low beam bulbs? 9005 and h1? and how do u replace the ring? thanks alot
i have a 92 prelude with the halo lights.. what type of bulb to fix the high beam and low beam bulbs? 9005 and h1? and how do u replace the ring? thanks alot
hey a question for ya , those halo projectors looks really nice!!! but i just got an 09 civic sedan dx-g and ive looked up on the internet cant find any 09 halo projectors like yours. or is it just not out yet? do you have a website u went to buy it? a trustworthy one?
I have the same kind of lights on my mustang. One problem I have with them is that the projected light gets so hot so fast. And I drive a lot. I can see on one headlight to where the plastic infront of the projected lens is starting to bubble.
I was either going that route with projectors or retrofit.........retrofitting is very expensive if you don't know how to do it....its still up in the air with me.....again looks good though!!!
It would be a hard transfer over but yes you could do it, and its not necessary to take the bumper off - you could if you wanted to tho, might give you more room.
They are the same H1. There is no point in you getting them cause they wont make the road any brighter. Get a HID conversion kit from Philps they are great I got it done and got the 8000k version which is blue.
I'm getting these but I'm putting halogens for all the bulbs. Can you get halogens for the Daytime Running Lights? Is it true that the daytimes are the same size as the high beams?
They are the same H1. There is no point in you getting them cause they wont make the road any brighter. Get a HID conversion kit from Philps they are great I got it done and got the 8000k version which is blue.
you said you wire the halos to the parking lights so cant you just cruise with the parking lights on and therefore have the halos running anytime? i drive a 95 grand prix and i can cruise w/ the parking lights on but maybe things are different now. btw im buying a civic this summer
they are not plug and play lights when you buy them, you will need to cut and splice some to get them to work correctly. It just takes some fooling with to figure it out. There are actually a few different combos you can have together with the halos, LEDs, and parking lights...
haha so true, bought mine off EBAY, (for my 99 Grand am) there are 4 wires out of no where and those are for your halo's and LED's, you hook them up the the 3rd parking lamp and do alot of fitiing and cutting,(took me 4 hours) and then that's pretty much about it...
nice video bro, i had my halo projector on my civic si coupe 06 for almost a year now, i removed wiring on the side lights so when i open my parking lights, you will only see the halo eyes, side lights only work when i use my turn signals..my question is, how come your halo eyes are that bright? did you do something about that? thanks!
you definately don't want your halos on with bright lights for too long. the heat the bright lights put out can actually melt your halos. it sounds like you have spliced into the wrong headlamp wire. instead of splicing into the regular headlamps you have spliced in the bright lights. thats my only guess to it.
very nice, i just wrecked my 09 civic, but she is getting an aftermarket front end, those lights are definatley goin in, great to see them installed b4 i get them , looks great, good luck.
I understand the halos belong to BMW but as for the L.E.D., Mitsubishi started that! It has always been a Mitsubishi icon in Dakar until Audi copied it. Just like the brake light foil effect Toyota started that with the Altezza. Turning signal on the side view mirrors are also a Mitsubishi idea.
but no other car companies make these headlights stock except for bmw, therefor among installing these on your civic you'll be the one doing the copying.
I don't understand your comment. I agreed with the Halos for BMW and you still make argued that statement. I was disputing the LED effecting not the halos.
you said:
if you have audi, or maybe even a vw it's okay too... but this just looks wrong in my eyes.
I said:

Not too bad on the install, I have another video posted on here that shows the process of installing them. Check it out before you install. They look great at night...
nice lights. i just ordered a pair from GTRacers. I wanted to know what they looked like. Was the install hard? Im trying to go a different route since everyone i know is doing stock units with hid kits.
halo rings aren't that bright. just seen at night. they can't be seen during the day like BMW halos. those cost about 1500 through BMW.. and as far as wiring there are about 50 differnt ways you can wire them, just play with them and see what you like. parking lights, etc can turn on the halos, LEDs etc...
Yes, but take a look at the instructions. You can wire them a few different ways depending on how you want the LEDs and Halos to come on, with parking lights etc. So test it out before putting the bumper back on.
I am confused... I just installed my honda accord halos, and I cannot figure out where the parking light wiring harness is to the point that I can connect my ground and power halo cords too. Where is the parking light wiring harness?
connect the halos up with the parking lights, thats what I did so anytime I turn on the parking lights the halos come on too. Might invovle some splicing.
I would install them myself, but like any Honda owner, we are always threatened by
Honda that we are breaching the warranty conditions etc etc. I hate that about Honda - they always try to scare you into buying only their shit and all the terrible shit that's gonna befall all of us that buy after-market parts including a locust attack.
really cool, i've never seen anybody with projection ligths, the first thing they is either buy wheels or and exhaust, but ligth? never, that it was makes the car look more expensive and have a better visiblity at nigth
