I prefer my Acer Iconia A500 android tablet, which I'm writing this comment from. I don't like Apple's monopolistic propertary tightly controlled app market. android is more open.

@qtutoringhelps There were a few of things that annoyed me about the original Ipad that I'm sure you've heard before.720p, 256mb of RAM, lack of junk mail filter etc.

But my problem with this video is not really about the Ipad. It's your connection between not liking product x that capitalism, freedom, and knowledge helped produce = actually hating capitalism, freedom, and knowledge.

My point is not that if you dislike some detail of the most current release of the iPad (e.g., "sometimes I intend to press this button and this other button is depressed instead') you must dislike capitalism; my point is much deeper and more abstract--it's a dismissal and rejection that a device like the iPad is a major achievement.
