  • He's only young give him a break Ffs. Anyway don muro's version rules. And he ain't even an organ player

  • that will always be one of my favorite fugues. and this mediocer organist will porbably never be able to play it. awesome playing man.

  • Trés bien, quoique un peu froid, merci pour la performance D.BABEL

  • Your technique is very good!! Just wish you played with more feeling..Almost seemed a little robotic. Were you scared because your father/teacher was there??

  • You are certainly very talented, and I enjoy your playing, especially on large organs like the one in Our Lady of the Angels. if you ever play in one of the large organs in Wasington, DC (The National Cathedral, or the National Shrine of the Immaculate conception, or the National Presbyterian Church) , post it on your Youtube page where you play the Prelude et Fugue sur le non d;Alain by Maurice Durufle so we will know about it. I will certainly try to attend.

  • Bravo! Good steady rhythm. Good technique.

  • Music,no felling in the interpretation felt

  • tricky substitution!!!!!!!!

  • You're amazing and that piece can be a real b_t_h! Organ is stunning too!

  • Very good!

  • Hello Minh, You are one of my best musician, your music is well interpreted, thank You, You bring the joy, in my house, friendly Jacques

  • You're always good, my young friend! Bravo!

  • Excellent. Keep it up!

  • BRAVO SIR! BRAVO!

  • Bravo!

  • what wonderful articulation and a fantastic organ!

  • Is this a slight adaptation of the original? The organist is not playing the pedal part from line 57-63 (at 1:59 into the piece) .

    Did anyone notice?

    Nonetheless, a wonderfu performance.

  • i was wondering the same thing--there are other videos on youtube where that passage is played without pedals...manuscript ambiguity?

  • yes, i do not know why it wasnt in there, but, other than that, flawless!

  • For those commenting that it should be better, how good was your playing at 16? And, were you better than this guy? I like what he does here. And in 20 years he will be even better.

  • Couldn't agree with you more, Harmoniumnet.

  • It's not a bit too fast .... it's pretty much perfect in tempo. Bach was known for his rapid tempi. It's superbly played, and your pedal technique is astounding. Stupendous performance!

  • Nothing wrong with the pedaling, nothing wrong witht the performance. At times it too run away fast and then at times its just right! Enjoyed!!!

  • WAAAAAAY too fast, baroque is music that has to be heard properly!!! It is very capably that you can play it that fast, but you don't hear all the notes this way, it's a bit of mutilating the music, if you understand what I mean.

  • Each time that I listen to this your performance, I laud the yours big cleverness!

    ...my English... :-(

  • I don't think the pedal is at all overpowered. Great performance, and fantastic organ!

  • PO, it sounds fantastic, as usual. What a treat to play in the Cathedral.

  • Yes, the pedals are certainly overpowered in this performance. The pedal work is what makes this such a great piece. Aside from that, never lean back as you do, it only makes it more uncomfortable and harder to play. All else aside, good job!

  • I must agree...the pedal sounds overpowered in this recording. Perhaps it is the recording equipment (camcorder) that is responsible? I would vote for a 16' soft reed on the pedal, or a stronger flute or diapason 16' if one is available.

  • Don't get me wrong--the playing is great! Congratulations.

  • Your earlier recording of the Gigue was great, and this one is too!!

  • Wow, thats very good, i really want to learn how to play that, i think your pedal tone could be a little louder, after all the pedat tone make the gigue come out

  • I sure wish I could play like that. Very very good!

  • WONDERFUL!!

  • Wow, very good!!!

  • Well Done For That Good Luck For Your Up Coming Recital.
