cool video. I'm thinking of getting my emt-1 in a few years and becoming a part time firefighter. My dad was a firefighter here in Alaska and has done a lot(they fly him to maryland every year to work on approving grants for fire departments) and now works as a safety officer at the Hagevig fire training center in Juneau, AK.

lol..it is our Engine 1 for right now but we just got a truck grant for a new engine so within 6 mounths it will be engine 2 and the engine 2 we have now we are getting rid of...

A super job on the video! Lots of mva's in there along with all the fires.

To all you under 18-yr. olds, see if your dept will sponsor you as a junior firefighter, ours does - they nearly always stay involved as they get older, and volunteer departments need that "new blood"! We are a family of firefighters, both vol. & prof.

Get involved - it definitely takes a village to keep the village going!!!
