For the MAC Fix+, you say Glycerin and water...Glycerin is a oil which clogs up pores and is hydrophobic...An absolute no no for oily girls. Do you have a review on how this compares to mac's version?

@prncess20 WRONG! It's not oil, it's a viscous liquid that's SOLUBLE IN WATER and oil won't do that. And it's Hygroscopic not hydrophobic. If glycerin were bad for people with oily skin, they wouldn't be able to use ANYTHING because it's in everything, including food. The main reason that it's used on skin is to help products adhere better and stay on longer, plus it stops you from sweating as much. It's not an oil by any means, it's actually a form of alcohol.

Nice video. I recommend that people use OLD lipsticks for the DIY gloss. The colour is less important since it is less strong for the gloss than it was in the lipstick.

So for old lipsticks that you aren't going to use, or that were the wrong colour or type - use those!

The correct recipe, which I'm sure you "borrowed" from EnKore, is:

1 c distilled, bottled, or purified water

1/4 c 70% or 91% alcohol

1/2 Tbsp Palmolive dish soap

1/2 Tbsp shampoo, norm-oily hair or baby

1 Tbsp leave-in conditioner, liquid formula

Gently stir, do not shake, pour in container.

another way to make lipgloss is just to put scrape out a little pigmient (eyeshadow, lipstick, blush) and mix it with a little vasaline. :) it really works and no its not bad for u at all. plus vasaline is mosturizing.

you do know that in professionnal makeup they tell you to moisturize your eyes with EYE cream, and then apply CONCEALER then you put foundation and then you put primer..... so your ''primer'' is actually some bad quality damaging/greasy mixture that is far from being a primer......just to let you know that its not worth it.... other than that, the other idea were nice.

@bleupapillons the way you should probably apply your make up is like this 1) moisturizer 2)primer 3)concealer 4) foundation. Some people use eyecream at night, while others can use it before concealer. I've been told to use it at night because it may have agents that would break down my concealer.

As for the primer recipe, it's not a primer really, since you moisturize your face and then apply foundation right after normally for a face routine. If anything it's more of a tinted moisturizer.
