  • hey

do you think i could get the sheet music for this or something its christmas eve and i wanna learn to play this so thats about it. thanks

    Michael

  • did you do the percussion as well. this is really nice. truely enjoyed it in the holiday season

cheers and a happy holiday to ya

  • @lookfar29 Thanks for your comment! Yeah, I did the percussion also. At the time that I recorded this, I didn't have many percussion instruments at my disposal, so I was just beating on my guitar for the percussive sounds. Happy holidays to you too!

  • I really really dig the mellow vibe.

  • Awesome version!!

  • Ahhh Childhood memories.

  • that'd be cool if you had a twin and you could play it like that

  • this is very cool

  • you've got some creative fun vids...thanks for posting...keep it up!

  • Great job man, really. I've seen your other videos. Any chance we will see you perform Sonic the Hedgehog?

  • hahahah! it took me a while to realize there was two of you playing, hahaha, i was just scrolling around the page and looked up, hahahaha. this is great. my boyfriends going to love you when he hears this :)

  • Very good!! A refreshing version of this song...

  • good job!

  • Great, however I wonder (as a raw beginner) if there is a way on the classical guitar to make it sound less clean and "bright"?

  • Thanks! One thing you could do is buy low tension strings. I usually get normal tension Pro Arte strings by D'Addario. Strings with lower tensile strength tend to have a less bright sound than high tension strings. You could also try picking/strumming further away from the bridge of the guitar. The closer towards the 12th fret you get, the "softer" the tone becomes. Also, keeping your nails smooth and slick helps.

  • so did u lay the "lead" over the "rhythm"? or vice versa?..i think u shoulda tried both...not that it matters...good job!

  • Hi,

I recorded the rhythm track first and then I recorded the lead. Thanks for the comment!
