@datboytblaze because u need a better phone, the internet protocol isn't supported for your phone which means it doesn't use a proper browser to support youtube, hope it helps maybe u should consider buying a phone from virginmobile they have great phones at low prices and even lower monthly plans, if i wasn't with tmobile I would change
I have this phone and can't figure out how to change the date and time. I tried going through the tools and setting. Still can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

Best all-round cell service in the States in my opinion. Have been using them for a year and wont even consider any other provider I see how the other carriers nickel & dime their customers!On Verizon network as well and their towers are everywhere.
@rrose59 it's true, signing a contract for a cell phone is a huge scheme! Verizon has kicked my ass and has left me out to dry, I seriously hate them with a passion and none of the other providers even have coverage to have all their hidden fees. I feel so much hatred talking about this... lol
This is like a mom-phone so don't look if you want something smarter. Straight Talk offers the E71 from Nokia too which is a lot like the BB in function but it costs half as much. Also, great signal strength. But yeah don't get this one lol
Dunno about this phone but I have the e71 from Nokia from straight talk and I like it well enough. It has slow ass internet but it costs less than half as much as my old blackberry so I had to make the switch for now. Very good signal strength.
Don't have this specific phone but just grabbed my new Nokia 6790, it's a smartphone that can literally get me anywhere on the mobile web in a flash and I never need to worry about service coverage because it uses both Verizon and ATT towers to broadcast signal. Sick!
just switched my number to this phone and now cannot make any calls. can send and receive txts but no calls...and what is up with the E next to the signal strength? does that have something to do with it?
i have learned so much about this company when i called their customer service number.before doing anything ion ur phone call them first to avoid complaints.
if you will transfer you number to another straighttalk phone that has a sim card.the process will take longer so if ur not in a hurry to transfer ur number and activate ur phone just buy a cdma phone or a phone that doesnt have a sim card..
I like the fact you can have different types of videos on the phone. I'm interested in seeing how the pictures/videos look, and if I can live without a smartphone. Definitely need to save some money and the prepaid option is great for that.
no u cannot change sim cards..do not insert a different sim card to ur straighttalk phone,especially if its not the one being programmed to work on ur phone during activation.
the possible thing that will happen is that ur phone will no longer work and u will experience 'sim blocked' problems,they would need to send u a new sim card w/c wll take 3-5 days.that's what they told me.

My kids got me the Iphone for last Christmas and I've never gotten used to the whole touch typing thing. I just picked up a new LG phone from Walmart with the "all you need" Straight Talk plan and boy am I happy. I never really got into that texting thing so I didn't need a full keyboard, and it's soooo much simpler and easier to use.

This looks like a good phone but if you want to upgrade, check out the Nokia E71. It has an awesome design, cool look and pretty much allows you to do everything an iphone does, except go broke. hahaha.

This phone looks great. Its easy to use and comes with a great network of support. I myself have Straight Talk's LG 290c, although I might get this phone for my dad.
Well people are talking about htat phone because it really is awesome. E71 is the way to go if you want to get a great phone. Ive dropped it like a million times and have had NO issues. The service is great and with all the money you are going to save with straight talk.. you might as well get a sweet phone. I saved like 500 bucks. i pay 45 bucks a month.. greag reat great service! Also I called straight talk asking questions once and they were more than generous to help.
I'm quite sure I'm not hallucinating guys!! Everybody's going on about the e71, and all I'm seeing in this video, is a lg 620?! Look. I'm not in any two minds about the unlimited plan from straight talk, it is the best deal. This is my first Smart Phone ever, I never felt I needed the power of a Smart Phone.
But after having this E71 for a week, I am never going back to a "Dumb" phone. This is E71 is crippled in NO WAY. All the great features are there. I have installed 13 a[[s so far, from YouTube to Google Maps to Mundu Radio and more. The data speeds are crazy fast on At&t's 3.5G network, but also has Wifi too. The 3.2MP camera is great, and video is decent. Calls are good and so is the speaker.
Ok guy, I have had my Nokia E71 for a week now and I am very happy now with ST. LOL. It seems they are starting to listen to customer feedback. They have defiantly got it right with these new Smart Phones and especially with this new E71. This to date is the best $200 I have EVER spent on a cell phone. Lets see, You get a Smart Phone (Nokia E71), that runs on At&t's 3.5G network and get At&'s 411 for FREE. Yeah, cant do much better then that, or can you.
I just switched over to Straight Talk and am so happy. I'm saving $50 a month by being on the $45 unlimited plan. I'm thinking about getting my kids the new smart phone for christmas and signing them up to Straight Talk.
I haven't had any issues at all with any phone that I've gotten from Straight Talk and I recently just bought the smartphone that everyone else here is talking about, I agree with what they say, I think that it's a great deal for 45 bucks a month and I can do anything on my phone

@thedive7777 I bet that works even better with the new smartphones that they just came out with. They now have the Nokia6790 which works as well as the iphone for mobile web and email access,you can get multiple accounts on it, and its all for 45 bucks.
Great phone by StraightTalk....sleek and lightweight. Plus, you can't beat the price of $45 for unlimited min/text/web. I haven't had a single droppe calll so needless to say, I'm super happy with the phone and the service. The only regret is I wish I would have found out about ST sooner!
I got this phone a couple weeks ago with net10 at walmart- it was only 40 bucks and that is a really good deal. It's a great phone, nice stylish design and the 1.3 mp camera is awesome for photos and videos! Plus the net10 coverage is sweet.
Also what ever you do, DO NOT SWITCH FROM CDMA TO GSM! Trust me its a NIGHTMARE. 9/10 times they mess up with the port and if that happens get ready to be with out a phone for atleast 4-5 days. Also the call quality on this 620G sucks compared to the LG 220c and Samsung r451c I had before this 620G. Verizon is the best, So stick with them. Its not worth sacrificing call quality and reliability for some extra features this model offers. Atleast not for me. This phone feels VERY CHEAP too.
I think ST was GREAT in the beginning, but after having some problems with the phones I have owned and with a number port. ST has sucked ever since. Ive been with them for about 5 months now and the first 2 were fine, But like I said. If you have any problems that come up, which they will. You are just better to go to another Pre-Paid carrier like Page Plus or Boost/Virgin Mobile etc. Cause ST CSR's and latly there phones are crap.
The rates for page plus seems alright then. But the price you pay for not being on the ST network (which is apparently to broaden now), is what? You have to stick to the town you're in? No way man! ST is still the best offer in prepaid.
There unlimited all is also $45 a month, and $30 gets u 1200 voice, text, and 50MB data. So thats better then ST's plans. If you dont know anything about Page Plus then just Google them. they have been around for 15yrs.
At least thats been my experience with ST so far. I have had ST for about 4 months now. I am seriously considering switching to Page Plus Wireless. The great thing about them is you can use ANY Verizon phone. They also use Verizon's FULL network. Not just there Pre-Paid minus roaming like ST does with there CDMA phones. Page Plus just charges you for the roaming (.29c) a min. But Verizon's network is so VAST, that thats pretty rare.
Making it complicated for the ST CSR's to handle the port. Trust me. I am convinced that ST does this purposely so that it is so much of a inconvenience to you, that you would rather buy a new phone instead of an exchange. This theory would also help control the amount of returns/exchanges to Walmart instead of to ST directly. Don't get me wrong, ST service (Coverage) is great. But there phones and CS is SHIT. When you buy there phones its a 70/30% chance you have a defective phone.
Just be careful guys if you choose to buy this model ST phone. I am on my second one and am thinking about returning this one. The first one I had died in a day. This one is showing some software/electrical problems too. Good thing I bought at walmart. Though I am going to buy a new one instead of return. If you return ST phones it is a nightmare 9/10 times to port, cause as soon as Walmart scans the return your account is "deactive".
this is one of only two phones for straight talk that is java enabled you can download games and apps to it i love it although i think it feels a little bit cheaply made now that ive had it for serval months but i still love it great phone....

After my daughter ran up a close to $500 phone bill, I kicked her off the family plan and got her this phone. Its stylish enough that she’s content with the look of the phone and I’m happy that I’m only spending $30 bucks a month for it

I'm amazed that you also get a video recorder on this Straight Talk LG620 & that you get all the functions you need for only $69.99. I think this is good value for your money. Straight Talks $30 prepaid plan has saved me so much money over the last few months, which I now put into my mortgage.
This phone uses a Micro USB for the charger plug and the same ovioulsly for everything else. You can get a headset off the internet for less than twenty bones and a car or house charger\usb cable for about 5 bucks if you have a 5 and bellow store around you i just got one today it even has a retractable cable for just five bucks but they didnt have a headset though anyone esle find a cheap place to get stuff for this phone please let me know

the battery is tooo tough to get off of this phone i cant even get it off. once i put it on when i first got it i didnt even try to take the battery cover off for a test but when i tried maaaaaan its not easy its like trying to pick up a truck if you wanted to take off my battery cover i dont know how this guy did it
I have the same phone and it froze on me. I was opening a forward text I got. It had a picture, and audio So I think that might of caused it. But It just froze and I don't know how to fix it. None of the buttons work or anything. I figured I could fix it by taking the battery out, but I don't know how to get the cover off! Any help, please!
honestly, when heard about the great deal with Straight Talk, did not expect a phone like this. I did my research and ended up with ST. Totally happy and siked about the phone and savings. Next i will switch my kids to it, cant wait!

this phone uses the same usb and charger cable as most of the new lg phones my old verizon lg chocolate 3 phone charger and usb cable work with this phone just thougt i would let everyone know.
@purplespeckle to delete all messages go to messages select mark/mark all and go back to options then select delete this deletes all messages at 1 time...I've had the phone for 2 weeks and just found that out lol! hope that helped!

to people wondering no you cannot stream youtube videos but you can go to vuclip.com on the standrd phone browser and download vids to your phone also google maps is unstable on this model
the head set probably acts as an antenna thats what all my other phones with fm radio called for and you had to leave the headphones in even if you used it on loud speaker

@chanettesapple hey...........it has java , to get operea on there just go to your web browser on your phone.. go to opera mini web page download which version you want... to get videos on there you will need a 3gp converter which you can download free.. either hookup via USB or send the video to your email then go on your phone to your mail and download...you can downlad games too

Well people are talking about htat phone because it really is awesome. E71 is the way to go if you want to get a great phone. Ive dropped it like a million times and have had NO issues. The service is great and with all the money you are going to save with straight talk.. you might as well get a sweet phone. I saved like 500 bucks. i pay 45 bucks a month.. greag reat great service! Also I called straight talk asking questions once and they were more than generous to help.

I'm quite sure I'm not hallucinating guys!! Everybody's going on about the e71, and all I'm seeing in this video, is a lg 620?! Look. I'm not in any two minds about the unlimited plan from straight talk, it is the best deal. And I understand about getting the right phone for making the most of the plan, but the e71 is just too expensive for me. Next thing I'm doing is worrying about insuring the phone.

This is my first Smart Phone ever, I never felt I needed the power of a Smart Phone.
But after having this E71 for a week, I am never going back to a "Dumb" phone. This is E71 is crippled in NO WAY. All the great features are there. I have installed 13 a[[s so far, from YouTube to Google Maps to Mundu Radio and more. The data speeds are crazy fast on At&t's 3.5G network, but also has Wifi too. The 3.2MP camera is great, and video is decent. Calls are good and so is the speaker.

Ok guy, I have had my Nokia E71 for a week now and I am very happy now with ST. LOL. It seems they are starting to listen to customer feedback. They have defiantly got it right with these new Smart Phones and especially with this new E71. This to date is the best $200 I have EVER spent on a cell phone. Lets see, You get a Smart Phone (Nokia E71), that runs on At&t's 3.5G network and get At&'s 411 for FREE. Yeah, cant do much better then that, or can you.

I just switched over to Straight Talk and am so happy. I'm saving $50 a month by being on the $45 unlimited plan. I'm thinking about getting my kids the new smart phone for christmas and signing them up to Straight Talk.

I recently started working from home and was getting so many overage charges with my last cell phone provider. I did some research and found out that with straight talk i could get the same phone and only pay $45 a month, for unlimited everything! it's great!

Great phone by StraightTalk....sleek and lightweight. Plus, you can't beat the price of $45 for unlimited min/text/web. I haven't had a single droppe calll so needless to say, I'm super happy with the phone and the service. The only regret is I wish I would have found out about ST sooner!

I got this phone a couple weeks ago with net10 at walmart- it was only 40 bucks and that is a really good deal. It's a great phone, nice stylish design and the 1.3 mp camera is awesome for photos and videos! Plus the net10 coverage is sweet.

Also what ever you do, DO NOT SWITCH FROM CDMA TO GSM! Trust me its a NIGHTMARE. 9/10 times they mess up with the port and if that happens get ready to be with out a phone for atleast 4-5 days. Also the call quality on this 620G sucks compared to the LG 220c and Samsung r451c I had before this 620G. Verizon is the best, So stick with them. Its not worth sacrificing call quality and reliability for some extra features this model offers. Atleast not for me. This phone feels VERY CHEAP too.

I think ST was GREAT in the beginning, but after having some problems with the phones I have owned and with a number port. ST has sucked ever since. Ive been with them for about 5 months now and the first 2 were fine, But like I said. If you have any problems that come up, which they will. You are just better to go to another Pre-Paid carrier like Page Plus or Boost/Virgin Mobile etc. Cause ST CSR's and latly there phones are crap.

The rates for page plus seems alright then. But the price you pay for not being on the ST network (which is apparently to broaden now), is what? You have to stick to the town you're in? No way man! ST is still the best offer in prepaid.

There unlimited all is also $45 a month, and $30 gets u 1200 voice, text, and 50MB data. So thats better then ST's plans. If you dont know anything about Page Plus then just Google them. they have been around for 15yrs.

At least thats been my experience with ST so far. I have had ST for about 4 months now. I am seriously considering switching to Page Plus Wireless. The great thing about them is you can use ANY Verizon phone. They also use Verizon's FULL network. Not just there Pre-Paid minus roaming like ST does with there CDMA phones. Page Plus just charges you for the roaming (.29c) a min. But Verizon's network is so VAST, that thats pretty rare.

Making it complicated for the ST CSR's to handle the port. Trust me. I am convinced that ST does this purposely so that it is so much of a inconvenience to you, that you would rather buy a new phone instead of an exchange. This theory would also help control the amount of returns/exchanges to Walmart instead of to ST directly. Don't get me wrong, ST service (Coverage) is great. But there phones and CS is SHIT. When you buy there phones its a 70/30% chance you have a defective phone.

Just be careful guys if you choose to buy this model ST phone. I am on my second one and am thinking about returning this one. The first one I had died in a day. This one is showing some software/electrical problems too. Good thing I bought at walmart. Though I am going to buy a new one instead of return. If you return ST phones it is a nightmare 9/10 times to port, cause as soon as Walmart scans the return your account is "deactive".

I’m a big fan of straight talk. Its perfect for teens who don’t know how to control their texting and talking! After my daughter ran up a close to $500 phone bill, I kicked her off the family plan and got her this phone. Its stylish enough that she’s content with the look of the phone and I’m happy that I’m only spending $30 bucks a month for it

This phone uses a Micro USB for the charger plug and the same ovioulsly for everything else. You can get a headset off the internet for less than twenty bones and a car or house charger\usb cable for about 5 bucks if you have a 5 and bellow store around you i just got one today it even has a retractable cable for just five bucks but they didnt have a headset though anyone esle find a cheap place to get stuff for this phone please let me know

the battery cover is a pain in the neck to take off but once you get the hang of it it comes off just as esilly as in this video for the headset all you have too do is google lg micro usb headset. the battery is tooo tough to get off of this phone i cant even get it off. once i put it on when i first got it i didnt even try to take the battery cover off for a test but when i tried maaaaaan its not easy its like trying to pick up a truck if you wanted to take off my battery cover i dont know how this guy did it

I have the same phone and it froze on me. I was opening a forward text I got. It had a picture, and audio So I think that might of caused it. But It just froze and I don't know how to fix it. None of the buttons work or anything. I figured I could fix it by taking the battery out, but I don't know how to get the cover off! Any help, please!

@chanettesapple hey...........it has java , to get operea on there just go to your web browser on your phone.. go to opera mini web page download which version you want... to get videos on there you will need a 3gp converter which you can download free.. either hookup via USB or send the video to your email then go on your phone to your mail and download...you can downlad games too
