This is really an impressive work. Could even make a tutorial out of it.
Can you suggest any video tutorial available for a project like this with modeling, texturing, rigging, animation combined me searching something like that ????
@lrajavel Thanks for the comment. I did not follow any tutorial specifically but I did rent the Matrix movies and watched several scenes in slow motion to try replicate the movement.
I also collected as many photos as possible of the APU.
Thirdly I remember sketching on paper all the joints and trying to visualize the way the polygons could be modeled so that the silhouette would not be lost yet be a low poly model.
I also found a video online for rigging using IK bones which helped a little.
hey.hour wise how long did this take you to make? the completed version that is? and how long did it take you to fulfill those hours? (example 30 hours over 1 week of time)

incredible, do you go to school to do stuff like this and what would that field be called like animation or design or something

@raglef1lagle Yes I do go to school for 3D Animation.
As for the name of the field, I believe its called Animation.
On the other hand "Design" (or industrial Design) has to do with creating 3D models of conceptual products.

Modelling - 3 weeks (40 hours on and off) - this does not include concept design
Texturing - 2 months (80 hours on and off) - textures range from 512x512 to 2000x2000
Rigging took 20 hours (a lot of trial and error)
Lighting took 15 hours
Particles took 3 hours
Rendering took 2 weeks at around 10 hours a day (140 hours) rendered in layers
(Rendered on a dual core 2 2.2Ghz, 3GB Ram)
Compositing took 8 hours
Total: 322 hours (this is a minimum)
