  • Britter e överraskande nog väldigt bra på o lära sig svenska de låter faktiskt ganska bra!

Translation: Brittish people are surprsingly good at learning Swedish, it actually saounds pretty good!

  • @Ullisgullis1 Saounds? Du menar sounds?

  • @Ullisgullis1 "saounds" , Om du ska översätta till engelska så kan du ju lära dig språket först. Skämmer ju ut oss svenskar.

"If you'r going to translate to English you better learn the language first. You'r embarassing us swedes"

  • @theymstha HAHAHHA "you'r"

  • @theymstha Du skall fan inte snacka. Det heter "You're"

  • @Ullisgullis1

Bättre än dig t.o.m! Det heter "är", "att" och "det", inte "e", "o" och "de"

  • @Ullisgullis1 now how the hell did you spell sound? *facepalm*

  • @Ullisgullis1 Nej du, vi är skit dåliga på svenska! Jag alltid glömma bort tredje personen var det gäller svenska verb :(

  • @cockle0979

Jag glömmer alltid bort tredje person när det gäller svenska verb*

    ;)

  • @cockle0979 "Jag alltid glömma..." remember; a sentence always starts off with the verb (as "jag" is the subjective), according to the SVO rule, Subject => Verb => Object, it even matter the english language xD

In this case; "alltid" is not a verb, but "glömma" is.

"Var" should be "when", as "när det gäller svenska verb" (when it matter swedish verbs)

But im impressed over the over all skilled sentence structure, you do very well! :)

However, i suck in english tho :S

  • @SuburbAllied: Swedish grammar is actually very similar to English grammar. I work as an EFL teacher in Asia and teach grammar every day hee hee :) So, if you need any help with your English you know where to come :) 'Alltid' is actually a frekvens adverb such as ofta, ibland, sällan and aldrig. As you already know, we have the same or similar adverbs of frequency in English :)

  • @cockle0979 heheh i bet it is xD Im not a language teacher tho :(

But as "glömma" in your sentence belongs to past happening term, it should be "glömmer", and "alltid" will for sure come after as it's an adverb and not a regular verb, so the SVO rule is very clearly here. In which country do you work as a teacher? In fact, im going to japan very soon to actually study the language, so we might maybe meet, who knows? :P

  • @SuburbAllied I know! :) Swedish adverbs confuse the hell out of me :P Frequency adverbs always come before the verb in English, but as you rightly point out they do come after the base form verb in Swedish. What makes it even more confusing is that if you use the present perfect form in Swedish then the adverb of frequency moves back in front of the verb. I have never heard anyone say for example: "Jag har ätit aldrig en älg hamburgare" but I have heard "Jag har aldrig ätit en älg hamburgare"!

  • @SuburbAllied Oh, sorry. Vietnam :)

  • Thumbs up if your swedish

  • @Ega060295 du kunde väl lika gärna skrivit det där på svenska..

  • @Ega060295 you failed. you're*

  • HAHAHAHAHH *breathes* HAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHA XD

    Åhåhåhåhååhåhåh .......... ^_^

  • Now, repeat it in Swedish:

  • I am swedish and this is so fucking funny :P

  • haha rofl, ''fuck a shy laplander'' xD älskar hans garv :D ''there's something i do everyday!'' xD

  • @myGeorg OK, two years since you posted this but I MUST tell you that you're wrong. We don't say "skit gott" which means "shit tasty", we say "skitgott" which would translate into something like "very tasty"/"fucking/damn tasty". "Skit" is used to emphasise "gott", therefor it goes together as one word.

  • Hahahaha, jag dör!! xD

  • haha, brun hårig sjuk sköterska is a classic example of why you're not supposed to put spaces inbetween the words over here! I do love to see other peoples' reactions to our language. :D

As a further example, if we really like the taste of something, we usually call it "Shit tasty" or even "cadaver tasty". Doesn't make much sense, but it comes natural for us...! Can also be used as a general empowerment, like "Shit big" or "Shit sexy"!

  • @BloodTal0n Ah the brown hairy sick nurse one. Yes, my friend is teaching me Swedish, obviously it's nowhere near as random as this. I guess I'm okay, but I suck as spelling it.

  • @PossessedDonutz This is obviously just a bunch of word scrambles and sentences made only for pronounciation practice, the sentences themselves are not exactly common everyday terms! I don't really see how you would benefit from these lessions, except that you perhaps get to work on how you pronounce words. Swedish is a pretty fun language over-all to be honest. :D

  • @BloodTal0n Lol i know. They dont make sense to me, even when I hear em in Swedish. I'm okay at it i guess, but I certainly didn't learn from this. It is fun to learn

  • @BloodTal0n: Man! He is so cadaver sexy! :D lmao ^^

  • FUCK A SHY LAPLANDER VS. PUT A BLINKER ON

XD LOL, fuck yes Sweden! Well done!

  • I should send this to my boyfriend, he's british xD This is hilarious

  • Wow! Swedish is so cool! :)

  • @kakosuranosx if your from sweden it sounds so funny XD

  • the end is perfect.

  • Laugh at 04:48 is epic.

  • @mongwai89

THAT is true, but a completely differnt subject....

  • @mongwai89

No not an ally, We were part of the SAME country!!!

Then when Gustaf Wasa was made king in 1523 Sweden became it's own country, (Sweden,Finland) and that was when or hatred for each other started, we broke out of the union!

See it a little like when when the americans broke of from the brittish, thay where quite pist...

  • @mongwai89

It can have something to do with that we under Karl X took Blekinge, Skåne and Bohuslän.... even now almost 350 years later some Danish are still pissed of....

  • wannabee hipip:(

  • Marrige is poison, thats just fact.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i'm having sex with a laplander in my head now!"

  • Haha! Så jävla kul! xD Giftormen var bäst!! Haha, lol!!

  • The host has a really sexy voice.

  • @larmmm He really sounds like Clarkson on Top Gear

  • @UNFLASHY norwegian and swedish is almost the same languange your stupid fuck xD

  • Norwegian a real language? What a joke, Norway is just a wannabe Sweden!

And French is ugly as hell.

  • @maxjonsson Norwegian sounds like a dialect if Swedish, or vice versa. But Danish sounds like if they have something in their throat and are about to die. And yes, I got a headache when I was in France cuz of the language :S

  • @Fyrtornet1989

yea, danish sounds as if it is a dialect of german - barking dogs ^^.

  • @Fyrtornet1989 ur kinda offending to danish people u know ;)

  • @rasine50 Dont take it presonally, I offend every nation ;D

  • @Fyrtornet1989 ah okay xD

  • @Fyrtornet1989 We in Norway feel the outher way about swedish

  • @Bollalillo I agree with him. Norwegian sounds to us Sweds like Swedish with a strange accent or dialect. And Danish sounds like a mix of swe nor with something dying in their throats lol. What did you mean you Norwegians thought about the Swedish language?? =P

  • @Fyrtornet1989 I agree one hundred percent!

  • @Fyrtornet1989 moire like they have porridge stuck in their throat :'D

  • @Fyrtornet1989 Actually, if you ask me. I'd say Danish is Swedish without most the vowels, and Norwegian is a more retarded sounding version of just that.

  • @BlankTH Norwegian is by far the worst sounding scandinavian language.

  • @Phantasma71

ehem no! havve u heard a dannish person speak??!

  • @mrkillerwallin Yes. :)

  • @Phantasma71

that's not fear I as a Swed always have a smile on my face when

the sweet brother from the west side off Scandinavia , have there say. and the Scandinavian

dialect's is much easier to understand then ditto British I mean when my dear Ester from the

High-land's speak up I just take a quick extra Vodka and may bee with that lingvistik

elixir I will after a bottle understand something

  • @tjallew wait, what

you dont even really know english do you?

  • @dekamonicuz

not really and after I put upp Mozilla Firefox .

I not have Google spelling service as dyslektiker I woundering if any

    lingvesti will bee korrekt.

But maybee after 1/2 liter off the lingvestik Elexir (vodka 40%>)???

  • @maxjonsson Norwegian and swedish is original the same language. As sweden and norway was the north (ofc danmark as well) so the talked Nordic and then when denmark and sweden had norway in a "union" so the norwegian language is effected (nowdays) quite much of the danish language

  • @Vutowski

In the 14 hundreds Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland was all united as the same country: The KalmarUnion..

  • @Se1ander KalmarUnion,, vaa???
