Musically, this performance of Dr Who sucks. The different sections are played out of synch with each other. Maybe the guys actually let Matt smith take charge of one of the sequencers coz that's what it sounds like. I guess you were all off your boxes, so you probably didn't care.

@snakeyes71 The initial 'rumblings' of the tune are out of synch. That's quite deliberate. It's about teasing the crowd, building the anticipation: all the elements are creeping in, one by one, you're just waiting for them to all come together. And at 2:33, when it drops, they all come together, and it was truly epic. I was there. Highlight of the whole of Glastonbury for me.

decent and may I say that Matt Smith may be the first truly iconic young Doctor, I mean yes Peter, MacGann and Tennant were excellent in their own ways but imho, despite being a 7th Doctor fan, Matt Smith could be as iconic as the 4th Doctor, there's that same fallibility, eccentricity, assured strength of will and humour about him and lest we forget Tom lost to the daleks on his first go aswell.
