  • I wonder when will paleontologists start using computerized lasers to eliminate all that tedious work of removing the rock layers from around the bones, I would think they would have that already,great video btw.

  • @nightkraawler glad you found it useful..

    working with fossilised bones is a delicate matter and need delicate hands to work with...a fossil could be burried deep in mountain rocks and need to be extacted carefully to keep it in tact and not to miss the pieces together...thats why i think computerised laster may not be suitable at that stage of extrcting the bones.

  • @KurdstanPlanetarium no , I'm not talking at the point of extraction, most of those areas are too inhospitable for sensitive laser machines anyway, I mean the tedious detail work that is done in labs.
