  • Let's find another place that's free!

  • I remeber me and my dad driving when he turned it on. Ever sence then, I been listing to this song.

  • Awesome, awesome, awesome! I always loved this band and this track. However, even though the footage is excellent, do I see Justin and John "playing wireless?" : ) No amp cords? That's the thing about those music shows... : )

  • Excellent! Thank you!

  • LOVE the original Moodies. MIKE AND RAY......COME BACK! These guys today are artistically bankrupt!!! {{{{{{{{{{{{PLEASE}}}}}}}}}}}}

  • how charming, how classy! great bassline John Lodge! a fan since 1967.

  • Tuxedo man is The Man. Love the slick moves. I agree, old school. Screw the tambourine.

  • @broc79thef14guy I know Right!! The guy is the COOLEST!!

  • The children of the 60's and 70's were the sons and daughters of the WW2 Generation. I've heard many reasons why our generation changed the face of music around the world. The thought is that this generation was the first to have a high percentage of mothers who worked outside the home as many were employed in the war effort while the husbands were fighting in Germany or Japan. . Our men may have been in England but 20 years later the English kids invaded our country musically.

  • You just never see a group of people this thin anymore...or this well dressed!!!

  • I have been waiting for years to see this video and studio version mix. My fav all time Moodies!! Thanks sooo much!

  • they just don t move like this anymore! ray thomas you re adorable!love you guys!

great song, great band, happy 65th birthday justin hayward, you still a cool cat...

  • Is that Michael Palin's dad on the keyboard?

  • I want a tuxedo just like the one that Alex Trebeck's dad is wearing!! But seriously, does anyone know how much it would cost to have this song play every time I walk into a room? That guy in the tuxedo is so cool that he doesn't even THINK about a tambourine to give himself something to do on stage. He is just gonna swing it old school!!!

  • your "Does anyone know how much it costs to have this song played every time i walk into a room" comment is the funniest thing i've heard in weeks! keep up the good work.

  • @bobkhalpern THANKS MAN!!

  • This video never fails to bring a smile to my face. Terrific song and even better dancing!! Love it!!!!

  • GarPeteY every nite at 1am i like to hear this song been a long ride for me but what a rush life is, love it, no vietnam slowed me nor two bogus wives , love the adventure

lets see what tomorow brings lets go!

  • How did England create bands that dominated popular music throughout the world in the '60s? Beatles, Who, Zeppelin, Stones, Sabbath, Blues, Kinks etc.

  • Ber now new now

  • I sat right in the front row. Justin was really cute!!!

  • This video introduced me to Moody Blues when I was 14. I'm 19 now and they are one of my favorite bands.

  • Wow never knew Basil Fawlty was in the MB

  • @TheFredulator well now that you have described your mother lets get on with this fantastic music..... rock on...

  • ah ha they look like puppets

  • @ThrashinMoshPit666 they are

  • Everytime the Moodies are passed for a RRHOF nomination, fans and DJs protest, more publicity, win/win situation for the band! Long live the controversy.

  • Happy birthday John Lodge!

  • @cloudjia Agree 100% ; i think 'charm ' is the key word here. A brilliant group going through something of a sea change in musical direction but not yet totally divorced from their previous incarnation. Both elements can be clearly seen in this video and , arguably , the song itself - one of the greatest melodies ever btw . Always loved those guitar shrieks in the final chorus. And thanks to artrock for sharing.

  • The music of yesterday had meaning. Music used to tell a story of what was going on during that time so people could make a connection of what was going on in their life during the time a particular song was popular. No story equals no meaning. No meaning equals emptyness, thus a song dries up. The Moody Blues music will stand the test of time b/c of the meaning behind their music, not to mention the obviously good tunes they belted out.

  • @TheFredulator Then move the mirror from in front of you and watch the video. It's magnificently timeless entertainment from one of the greatest groups of the era.

  • I seen The Moody Blues here in Milwaukee, WI on June 10, 2011 and they put on one heck of a show.

  • Tuxedo's rock!

  • @MoodyGirl67 I messed up, I realized it like an hour later... why did I write Roger? John Lodge I meant! Should I delete and fix? Sorry :op

  • Fookin' LOVE this video/performance!

They ALL look ultra cool! Each one has individual flair, certain panache, charismatic. From Edge's head boppin' steady groovin' to Roger's sly smile wile grooving his base to Pinder's elegant dandy look to Justin's very sixties look to Ray's very hip English sixties dancing!

And the songs not bad either!

  • These guys will never get old, goin to see them tomorrow night.

  • I loved this song and this group when I was a little girl. Awesome track.

  • "Are you sitting comfty-ble tout square on your botty? Then we'll begin!"

  • Good innit!!!

    Birmingham's finest.

  • If I could only dance like Ray Thomas I wouldn't request more in this life!

  • This is a top-notch video! I wish, however, that the production man refrain from zooming in within inches of a guitar when a solo is performed. I'd much rather see the guitarist also as he plays the guitar. I love this song and the band looks great !

  • the dancing guy is hilarious

  • This song is amazing! And so are the moody blues!

  • the snapping fingers dude rules. Now I know who invented the Axl Rose dance.

  • @doubanjiang hell yea!!!! the dancing waiter!!!

  • @doubanjiang Hell yeah...Ray RULES!

  • This is my favorite Moody video. Love the moves and grooves Ray has goin' on.

  • Awesome band; amazing lyrics (all of their songs). God I loved and miss the 60s!

  • @yogini34

    I know what you mean.

  • I love the fact that 70 people like this and there are NO likes... Shows that everyone that has watched this knows how good a band The Moody Blues are !

  • @redsunflower67 So do I they were sooo young here..Check out Justin's hair LOL! That is Beatles hair! :)

  • Great band and great song.It looks like none of these guys weigh more than 125 pounds.

  • This song still makes a statement!!!!

  • whata take a ride?

  • The finger snapping guy is worth the price of admission.

  • "To talk to Art Bell West of the Rockies dial 1800 876 6000(...) This is Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell"

Love classic C2C bumper music! :)

  • Back again for a see-saw fix! Luvit!

  • One of my favorites!!

  • buena cancion primeras imagenes en color the moody blues from youtube...la honorable sociedad

  • Isn't the moody blues what teenage girls come down with during their periods?

    I'm joking. I like the MB's.

  • this is like trippy dude, trippy

  • @kpax45 Trippy, indeed! I call this video performance a Re-Energization Force.

    Powerful, .....with great intent!

  • @kpax45 LOL! Yeah, and thats a good thing.

  • The cold dispassionate fact is that this tune and most all of the Moody Blues catalogue will stand the test of time. The idiots who disparage the M'Blues are unworthy of any human contact. May they all rot in Rap and Hip Hop Hades for all of eternity.

  • @The5thAngelRose I respect them, but I have to ask: why did they pick the name "The Moody Blues"?

See, I don't know about you, but 'The Moody Blues' sounds like a form of the blues, more specifically the title of a bluesy song, and the fact is, that doesn't describe these guys' music.

  • @hell5309 My guess is because they started out as a rhythm and blues band, if you listen to what they did in their earliest years of 1964-1996, it was quite different then the art rock they became known for. Also, Justin hayward and John Lodge joined in 1967 and brought this new sound to the band. Just my guess!

  • @Skycladatdusk78 Ah. That explains it.

Though I still think it would be funny to introduce them as, "the group whose name describes what teenage girls feel once a month and what goths feel every nanosecond of their lives...The Moody Blues".

  • @hell5309

They were originally called the M&B 5 because they wanted to perform in a Birmingham brewery called 'Mitchell's Bottlery.' The building had a big 'MB'. It didn't work so they changed names. Duke Ellington's 'Mood Indigo' was one member's favourite song.

  • @RHINOWINOLUNATIC Ah. Cool.

  • @The5thAngelRose I love their music, but every time I see the term, "The Moody Blues", I think, "Isn't that what teenage girls come down with during their periods?"

(In other words, their choice of band names kind of opens them up to jokes.)

  • @The5thAngelRose Agree with you, It's called Classic rock for a reason; This song was made 43 years ago and it's Still an awesome song I never get tired of.

  • @The5thAngelRose like your comment... couldn't think of a fate WORSE than what you condemn them to

  • Great song! One of the best vocal groups ever AND a tight, focused, rocking band besides...plus lyrics about freeing your mind! How much better can it get?

  • I couldn't edit my joke, I meant Bloody Moos, not Boody. All in good fun. The only thing bloody about the Moos is they are BLOODY GREAT!

See Saw seems to encompass everything in one song, upbeat, harmony, melody, rhythym, lyrics, personality, joy, fun, tightness, cohesiveness, and very positive vibe,......,I am happily addicted and greatful. I'll be back for mo'!

  • Boody Moos (joking,....all in good fun) have been an inspiration for me for 30 years!

Was I ever lucky to have See Saw playing in my camper-van as I rock and roll'd my way into the beautiful mountains of British Columbia, prospecting for gold, girls, and good -times. I found eevrything I was looking for. Thanks, Moody's for providing the inspiration and music on my see-saw ride! In the early 70' s the Montreal Forum broke its attendance record, that night with 22,000 fans! I was there singin!

  • A really nice sitar-like lead by J Hayward. The look of the band at this time is like they are playing for a small club. Maybe that was intentional.

  • As an accomplished musician in my day... I can honestly say i have witnessed near every major act from Hendrix to Zappa....

THIS is the greatest group of Singers, Song writers and Performers ever to join as ONE! Integrity, caharacter and quality in person and music! Get to see them again in June In Cincinnati....Excited as I can be...Nice post...thank you!

Every member brought of the Moody's has brought or brings something to this Fantatic group!! God be with them all!

  • Strong work on the Tele!

  • Just wanted to say thanks to the one-dimensional dipshits who felt it necessary to make disparaging comments on Ray Thomas' dancing.

  • @oliasdoug You're welcome.

  • @oliasdoug Thanks 4 pointing out problem`s problem. He is a Dipshit.

  • excellent song and video

  • Man! Weren't they all dashing?!!! The guy in the blue suit looks scarey. Ray, is the guy in the tux.

  • Again, just a terriffic song. But the tux guy really looks like he's trying to squeeze something out.

  • Mitici!!!

  • Great song, but let's face it, the guy in the tux couldn't dance if you dipped him in James Brown.

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video...

  • @problem49 problem49 : YOU have to be kidding me? The guy in the TUX is fantastic! This man has Gypsy blood in him and he can dance the lights off James Brown! Its the enthusiasm that counts not some choreographed BS!

  • @Rogerbradly Who's kidding who? Seriously, great song but but the tux guy looks like he's sorting out his hemmoroid meds.

  • @Rogerbradly YES!!!!!

  • GREAT Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Robots.

  • @geoffinott it's professor Stanley Unwin.

  • What a great song! I fell in love with the Moody Blues back in late 1988. Has it been that long? Thanks for posting this "anthem" of an age.
