That's the first time I've heard that they aren't considered Christian. Their songs usually don't have Christian themes, except for "Prayer" But...

Look at their pre-concert videos, Lajon leads a prayer huddle. Their CDs' liner notes - every member thanks God/Jesus, usually in the first line. And I just heard Lajon say in an interview on Youtube "We pray, and thank the Lord for being here. We're very blessed."

I could care less what their religion is, but it's obvious.

I agree and think only the only bands who really are "christian" bands actually have songs trying to spread their religion...Sevendust does not. Chevelle is another band that gets tossed into that alot too.

But by your definition, I wouldn't count Creed, 12 Stones, even Fireflight as actively proselytizing with their music, but they are all definitely Christian.

Perhaps we all have to just agree a band is a "Christian band" if they are published on a Christian record label and go to Christian music festivals. There is too much gray area otherwise.
