it's called frisket--it's an adhesive mask (low-tack) to cover up certain parts of the painting where you don't want the overspray to hit. :)

wow. How old are you since u started learn? I am learning now. i am 33 age.. the age is never late. Art is for life. I been doing art paper for many years. i want soemthing new with airbrush

started when I was 15; I'm now 30 and too old to keep trying to pick up 18-year olds. :(
