Mass Effect series is one of the greates games ever made period. People can say there's Uncharted, Resident Evil, Silent Hill or Dead Space nobody gives a fuck because Mass Effect are better than all of them mentioned. Mass Effect 3 will be the end of Commander shepard's story and the end of the first trilogy. But according to Bioware wanting to continue the franchise with Mass Effect 4 the start of the second trilogy

People might lose track of the main story if they get distracted with minigames and exploration, imo, Mass Effect 2's "space cruising" is pretty good, though I hate the fact they minimized the amount of ground missions and replaced them with probes...

Side missions/minigames > scanning planets.

Plus paragon/renegade would be easier to build, the paragon actions (right click mouse) usually seem better to do for me, but i still want max renegade for renegade convo, so if u had tons of npcs u talk to u could do renegade convos with them and max it outt then freely do paragon options without the fear of not being able to max out renegade (or vise versa)

@Jam0nBread Well yes, true, anything is better than scanning those goddamned planets, but if we were to have a gameplay freedom similar to Fallout3, chances of actually completing the game would drop like flies. However, if they opened more parts of the Citadel and added more interactable NPCs, things wouldn't look so... "plastic" regarding wether to visit the Citadel or the Krogan Homerworld, Necessity vs Liking the place's lively atmosphere
