  • gen x, best comic book movie adaption j/k

  • i got a bunch of 70s and 80s Spideys, and the original first print Punisher mini-series, the secret wars ones. i gotta go to my storage and see exactly what i have. good stuff man

  • Nice books man

  • Hey I just went to comic con this weekend and I got a few comics, and was curious if I got anything good but doubt it cause I paid no more than $2 for em...but I picked out based on the cover. So I got spider-man 252 (first symboit spider-man), 363 (carnage conclusion),365 30th anniversary of spider-man, 375 which also says 30th anniversary of spider man (confused?)

So if anyone is willing to pass their comic book wisdom onto me I'd appreciate it!

  • awww man im jealous u have amazing spiderman #361, i cant find tht anywhere and Carnage is my fave character!

  • this is one of my extremely rare comic collection action comics vol.1 download /watch?v=T9CYmh9MoOc

  • I have dark claw number 1 in spanish!

  • u must like spider-man

  • Man i got x-force and x-men 1 from the 90's for a dollar in the orgininal packaging with the cards for a dollar.

  • can you still buy some of those comics??

  • Dissapoint. When I clicked on a video of "My favorite Comics" I didn't expect 90's Marvel crap and I sure as hell didn't expect the Clone Wars. Shit.

  • nice

  • Dark Claw = "Hey I'm too lazy to think of a new character. Just add 3 parts Batman to one part Wolverine, and POW! Instant superhero!" Even the title of the comic is an exact clone of 'Legends Of The Dark Knight'. BTW, these comics are neither rare or valueable in any way. Just a bunch of junk. Try and take them into a comic shop. I DARE YOU!

  • @jokerburnsgotham um it was from the marvel vs dc storyline back in the 90s they fused together. get the facts

  • Hey, I liked this video. It made me want to post a favorite comics vlog! Me and you have quite similar tastes in comics, (among other things, Like the RAIDERS!!!) Lol, I have most all the comics you shown here!! Some of my favorites from my collection are my Todd McFarlane drawn Spideys, I think I have almost all of them. And what I would say is my most prized, Is my Ultimate Spider Man #1, White variant (x2!) And my Dynamic Forces variant of USM#1!!

  • Nice collection the first carnage issue is one im after myself as well as the return of the sin six. I have two issues of that myself and gotta get the rest. check out my videos of my collection if you would like.

  • cool comics dude! Please check out my comic collection vid!

  • is deadpool number 1 worth anything??

  • @MyachiMach3Myachi probably. i know his first appearance in new mutants 98 is worth around 30 or 40

  • can somebody tell me all the ages? (silver, gold...)

  • Hey can you tell me what an "action comic" book No.1 is worth cause my dads dad gave it to me...Thanks!

  • @hamoan66boi Oh how convenient. It seems every comic collection video I look at someones "dad" or grandpa, or old bum on the street just happened to give them a "Action Comics #1" You know what the comic is, but yet you need to ask a you tube poster what it is worth?? Unlike you, I really do have an Action Comics #1. And one just sold for a million dollars at an auction for your information.

  • @bentleyshane By the way, I really do have an action comics 1, Im not just pulling that out of my ass. Its lame, its in bad shape, and its a current age reprint. :-) I got it for a dollar. I'd sell it for fifty cents to you so you can have one also.

  • @bentleyshane I to have an action comics #1 and yes, my dads dad did give it to me and I dont know how much its worth...But how convenient is it that you sold yours for 1 million dollars and come on youtube to brag? And at what auction company did you sell it?

  • @hamoan66boi I didn't say "my" action comics 1 sold for a million bucks, I said that there was "AN" Action Comics number one that sold for a million bucks. If I had a million bucks, I wouldnt be bragging about it on youtube, Id be too busy spending it! I have a worthless reprint of the comic. Printed in 2004!! LOL See, what I am saying is the truth, And I can prove it by taking a picture or video, and posting it on you tube. But it would be lame, because its real common.

  • @bentleyshane Well ok but mine was reprinted in 1963 so yeah...i guess were both screwed!

  • @hamoan66boi See now that is a bit more believable than making it sound like you had an original. :-) And even now I think your full of crap! ha ha. lol, How old is your dads dad, to give you a 63 reprint?? I could see your father giving you one, or something like that. But chances are your "grandfather" would have been around to see the original in 1938. Anyways. . If you have one cool, Id like to see it! i bet its cooler than mine. :-)

  • @bentleyshane my dads dad is 73 and my dad is 38 and im 19...so yea but the cover is faded so i dont think its worth as much. =)

  • @hamoan66boi Well, I think it is worthless. You should probably just send it to me, Ill take a gander at it, If it is worth anything. . I will keep it. Ill take great care of it. Ill wait till its as valuble as it can be, Ill sell it, Ill buy myself some nice things, Ill buy you a thank you card, and maybe even a nice Spawn #1. Ill live a long and happy life knowing I took a special comic from you, and made it my own by bamboozling you. :-) Bwahahahahaha!!!

  • @bentleyshane hehehe maybe idk!

  • @hamoan66boi Im just kidding man. If you have it, then its a great comic, and keep taking good care of it. I am just giving you a hard time. I have alot of comics from the 60's and not many of them are in "great" shape. But I still have them, and they are awesome. Keep all your comics. I do, and I take care of beat up comics just as if they are in mint condition. They are just as welcome in my collection! I really think I am going to post my own collection videos soon! Keep an eye out!!

  • @bentleyshane Hahaha Ill keep and eye out! Talk to you soon dude. =)

  • is that spiderman 2099 #1 rare cuz I have one.

  • i have those spiderman comic #1- 70

  • I have the Punisher 2099 series. very good series and i also have a lot of the warzone issues. I would really like to star getting more but i am broke :(

  • @MATTHEWTHEINGRAM I'm in the same boat right now....

  • Those are rare comics??? LOL, cuz i have every single comic (not the cards but i have others) and their significant series. I had subscriptions to about 25 marvel titles back in the day. They all just sit in boxes in my closet lol

  • Pretty much what I expected....spiderman, spiderman,spiderman.......same issues everyone else has to.....awsome prints though.

  • Very nice...But, rare? not yet. One day though

  • rare comics?

  • hey my dad owns a comic store he bought when he retired.best thing i have that someone brought in. the millenium falcon from empire strikes back unopened in box.comic wise its easy. flash comics #1 from 1940. too bad its coverless.

  • Nice Vid man!

Check out my collection when you have a chance!!

  • awesome

  • which is your rarest comic?

  • hey im 16 years old

and i collect comics i love it

i have dark claw number 1 to

do you know if it is worth anything?

  • Probably not a whole lot now, give it a few more years though.

  • @gambitwolvie01 $10.00 :)

  • @gambitwolvie01 Dark Claw worth anything? No and no. Just a rip off of Batsy and Wolverine.

  • @jokerburnsgotham marvel vs dc storyline

  • @gambitwolvie01 dark claw is wolverine and batman fused together from the dc vs marvel storyline back in the 90s idk if its worth anything.i liked lobo the duck. i tihnk they shld bring those characters back from amalgan and let them be storys instead of one shot stuff

  • @metal220 yeah that would be cool

i really enjoyed darkclaw i never heard of lobo though who is he. i have one of ghost ride and flash mixed i beilive and punisher and wonder woman and spiderboy lol

  • @gambitwolvie01 yea i have speed deamon and super soilder as well. lobo the duck was lobo and howard the duck

  • omg nerd

  • Why thank you. :)

  • @TimeGem Lol.

  • @TimeGem hell yeah we nerds gotta stick together power to the geek :)

  • @straaler5

actually the term is Geek. :)

  • @straaler5 hahahahaha that was funny, anything recent is not worth collecting..The true value is the golden-silver age books.

  • @straaler5 what brought you to this video then??

  • I've got your spider-man prints as well, but the cards. I'm going to frame them all and make a large collage to put on my wall. There just something I can't part with!

  • I hear ya. :)

  • 50 yrs old n still collecting comic books!

  • Nothing wrong with that, I hope I'm still collecting when i reach that age. :)

  • Cool collection,I also happen to have some of those same Spider-Man comics in my collection as well.

  • Yeah, some of these books may not be worth a lot as far as price goes, but sentimentally they are worth a whole lot to me.

  • Heh,might be the same with my collection as well. But,i'm looking into the worth of some of them now through a price guide website.

Anyways, the main thing to collecting is to enjoy what you collect.

  • Your first appearance of Carnage and Silver Age Spiderman may be worth some money. I reckon between 10 and 15 USD. The silver age spiderman maybe between 3 and 8 USD.

  • Great show. Im glad you enjoy venom, and can see it from your collection. However, your collection of #1s are not as valuable as you think. The 2099s I know, started their price at $.50 back in the 90s, and for a period of time, got unpopular and depreciated, as everyone was selling. They are now worth about .45 at best. However you have two gems in this first video.

  • your entire collection is worth about $15 lol. Go get comics of high value that will appreciate over time. 30 years from now your comics will go up $5 man lol.

  • lol dude thats mested up

  • judging from your unnecessary comments its plain to see why you go by your handle. You're full of crap. Stop hatin'.

  • I didn't get these comics to get rich, I got these comics because they have sedimental value for me. You can't put a price on something like that.

  • Great comic's.....................

  • hey just wondering, could someone tell me the value of these comics now? Thanks

  • urr amazing spiderman comics are nice

  • First issue of Deadpool yes, first appearance of Deadpool no. He first appeared in New Mutants #98

  • Aw man did I say first appearance?! Thanks I'll make that correction.

Yeah and my friend has or had that issue of New Mutants, it was pretty cool.

  • you have a pretty cool collection, my favorite comic would be my Detective Comics #27 reprint from the 80s

  • I went back and watched it, I don't say first appearance. I say it's his first series.

  • These are all super great issues. Sadly they're not worth much. :/

  • nice collection, unfortunately these mass produced books are not worth much at all. Ask dealers how many they are stuck with to this day

  • i like ur vid but why waste time on comics use less waste of time

  • Why is it a waste of time?

  • yeah, comics are just something to collect, of course they're a waste of time!

    everything is!

your goal in life might be to get a good job, maybe TimeJem already does, and his hobby is collecting cool pieces of art and story, comics!

what do you collect that isnt a waste of time! hobbys are DESIGNED to waste time in a fun way.

  • thats ure opinion a person might like to play sports and i can say why waste your time on that

  • My thoughts exactly. Thanks strimkilla. :)

  • You found 3?! Man, that's awesome!

  • is it worth buying the deadpool comic is it even good

  • That totally depends on the individual. If you are a fan of Deadpool, then yeah it's worth buying. If not then well then that's ok too.

The saga was a fun read, lots of humor in it. Lots of action too, if you are a fan I would recommend it.

  • So I found a dusty box hidden down in the deep corner of my basement. And all thats inside are comic books. So I don't read comics, or collect them anymore. So I was searching through the internet and found that one comic, would never show up in search results. its called Ultraverse Rune Special Edition. Idk if it's worth anything. you seem to have some knowledge. if you know the comic can you tell me the price range I can get if I sell it?

  • There are some price guides you can look at to see if the book is worth something or not. I'm sure there are price guides online such as Wizard's price guide.

  • GREAT COLLECTION

  • Thanks. :)

  • hey can you check my comic book collection out its on my page ty

  • Yeah I'll check it out, send me the video. :)

  • ill buy them from u. how much?

  • No sale, sorry.

  • DEADPOOL #1 AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, it was a great series. :)

  • oo sweet i read some of the spiderman comics..unfortuantely they were free in the New York Post like 2 years ago.."doc oc" is a pain!!carnage is rumored to be in Spiderman 4

  • If they do make a Spider-Man 4, please, for the sake of humanity, no more dance scenes.

  • whats the holy grail of comics? just wondering

  • In my opinion, Action Comics #1 is the comic all comic peeps want. Amazing Fantasy #15 would be a close second.

  • that action comics #1 is that the superman one?

  • Yes, the first comic of the first superhero. :)

  • were you into just venom or all symbiote stuff? I remember toxin that came out a while ago but I havent seen anyone use him, and "venom" has been back in the brand new day story arc, dunno if you knew that since you refuse to read it.

  • Yeah I was into Venom when I was younger, and I have been keeping an eye out with all the BND Venom stuff. :)

  • very cool, the 30th aniv. spidey is still one of my favorite covers.

  • Yeah that one is one of my favs too. :)

  • Nice choice of Comics / Stories

  • Thank you. :)

  • I also have the books where spiderman fought firelord. that was a great fight!

  • Yeah it was, it was a mixture of chasing, hide and seek, and one on one fighting.

  • i was suprised to see that dead pool #1 awsome video btw

  • Oh yeah, it was a good series too.

  • Request: Favorite Video Games.

  • Well, most of it will be pictures, but I can do that. :)

  • but is that a yes or a no?

  • It's a yes because I already made the video. :)

  • How many do you have? Must be a whole bunch you got there!

  • I have a whole lot more than these. I need to start storing them somewhere because I am running out of room.

  • and oh man at 4:30, that was venom #1 if only it was the black background cover on that sucker!

  • That would be awesome! :)

  • *sigh* hologram foil covers...those were the days! :)

  • Yes, the best days. :)

  • i've been collecting since i was 12, i always write down what i have in a notebook so far i'm close to having a thousand books!

  • Wow, that is awesome!

  • i liked the scarlet spider

  • Yeah, he was pretty cool :)

  • haha what was that noise at 4:06?

  • My Mac telling me I had mail.

  • nice collection. I missed Bageley on Marvel he was a master when it came to doing Spiderman.

  • Yeah, he did know how to write a great story. :)

  • Nice to see I am not alone in this. :)

  • Thanks, I wish I could get past the whole OMD/BMD thing. But I just can't get past the fact that all the books that I showed are now moot.

  • Nice collection! I love the cover art on those comics. What age did you start collecting?

  • I started collecting about age 5 or so. Very fond memories back then. :)
