Thats why cats got such long lives and fast healing rate theyre always purring like when you are chanting om and doing deep throat this type of toning repairs and heals the body its called sound therapy.
Its called Undertone singing. When ever you produce a note, there are these naturally occuring overtones that heard along with the fundamental (Fifth, octave, 3rd, etc). In Overtone singing, you change the shape within your mouth to isolate these certain tones and they can be heard. An undertone is sort of like an overtone, only its below the fundamental, and has more to do with your larynx being aligned perfectly.
I'm musician, and what you say was very explicative. I'm looking for information about this buddhist monk. Could you tell me where to find monks singing like that?
what kind of music intruments are these?

I have just come back from Dharamsala where I met Ven Bagdro. He's an amazing man. Read his book "Hell on Earth" - he gave me a signed copy of it

is this an example of tuvan singing?
erciasico 4 years ago
Sort of, Tuvan throat singing usually has more higher overtones and focuses more on a melodic line as opposed to chanting a text.
