I love all forms of Sohmer, but this video pissed me off. Yes there are a lot of whining 14 years-old idiots complaining their i-pods broke and life is terrible because of it, but then there are those who do have serious depression, and this sadness is out of their control. i remember this video from a couple years ago, i thought it was funny then, but i recently finished an emo phase, wanna see the cuts on my arm? lots of people around have bigger problems than emo kids, we know that, but i know from personal experience that there's nothing more horrifying to the human experience than being rejected, alone, kicked around, talked about up front and behind your back, back stabbed, lied to, and worst of all; having no friends to help you through all of it.

This video isn't about people who've been through hell. It's about the emo blog generation of people who have too little to complain about. I've been bullied. Considering the audience, I'd say 30% of us got bullied. We got over it.

Try having someone try to KILL you just for being yourself. THAT is much worse than being lied too. If you're not strong enough to get through some emotional stress, then I don't see how cutting yourself makes it any better. Emotional pain drowned in physical pain?
