@philipinoidiot well like I said I was in Plt 1075, he was in Plt 1074 but I had a few run ins with him. What can I say he was a Drill Instructor they don't show any kind of friendly emotions towards the recruits at all.
Why does it matter whether or not today's drill instructors wear short shorts? You see SSgt Nichols'? With those quads, his foot will go through your chest and out your back.
im 12 and i am wondering what this dumbass who got kicked out of 4 schools in one year is gonna survive after pissing off the senior drill sergent . . . i would try as hard as i can not to laugh but i will anyways cuase i hate that bastard lol
Dam..what is with the shorts.. PT gear in the squad bay.??? friggen gay..
P.I. platoon 397 November 63.... full body contact era... no get to know your D.I. nights... shlitz ..I miss it, ...65 now my DI's probably 70's or 80's..., all three stood tall. even though Sgt Lidster was only 5' 2" ... would give instruction while doing one arm pull ups at the head of the squad bay... impressive men all!
@redifreddy14 lemme guess...your one of the "back in my day" Old Salts that NEVER EVER EVER had your PT gear on at ANYTIME in YOUR squadbay...it magically appeared and disappeared on you when you entered and exited the hatch's? (shaking head) i bow to your greatness sir.....
@TheKrazymanny Apparently they now have a get to know your Senior DI period in the squad bay in the evening LOLOL.. GET TO KNOW YOUR SENIOR DI"S KNUCKLE SANDWICH>>>>>>that is all I ever got to know ... the M.F. on graduation day was still growling... LOL
@redifreddy14 when you train in the late summer in parris island, south carolina like I did you would understand. I went in in 1979 in late august and from sept to oct is was pretty hot. we did our running and early physical training in shorts.
@fothgt As did I ....1964 3rd bat. ... Platoon 397.....let me assure you NO D.I. ever in shorts..even during PT .. only Marine in shorts was the PT intructor who was up on the raised platform. ...
BY 79 the kinder gentler DI's were already taking hold in the Corps.maybe they wore shorts then ...I wasnt there BUT I repeat no DI I ever saw wore shorts in my time at P.I.
@redifreddy14 None of my D.I.'s were...I won't even say it. We wore shorts in '79. The Marines by then had become a little humane because of all the political pressure of the sixties and seventies. To question authority had become the rule of thumb during that era. And many changes were made and wearing shorts was one of them. But I can't even thing of anyone being....I said I would not say it my whole tour. If they were....they would have never said it. Dont ask, Dont tell...Shut Up. Semper Fi
Doesnt matter which branch we are in. We all fight for the same damn reason. And that REASON is CALLED FREEDOM. We all Have different ways but were all still Fucking BadAss's!
@USMCFUCKYEA YEAH ALOT OF SWEARING YOU WILL PICK UP ALL THE MARINE CORPS SLANG OR JARGAIN AND THE WORD THAT WAS OFTEN USED FOR EVERYTHING AFTER A COMMAND WAS "KILL!!!" BUT IF YOUR PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY STRONG AND HAVE THE HEART YOU WILL BE FINE.
Damn dude, SSgt Nichols is a MOTO ASS DI!!! i would kill to have him as my SDI. hope my DI is as tough and Moto as he is! leaving for boot camp in 3 days. 0331 - Machine Gunner ERRR!!
Funny . I was in Bosnia in 95 and even my BC insisted we DID not call him sir . Guess instead of joining the mens department of the navy i should of joined the boat boys who never got out of their chairs except to get up and b!tch about everyone else .
2nd Bat Parris Island would embarass all boots from the post Bush era. I'm talking first Gulf War to the glory hounds in now. get it straight blood corp aint what it used to be.R.I.P. COL. Molofsky L Co. 3/3
SSgt. Velasquez was my Junior Drill Instructor and he was damned great with COD. He'd always say "DO NOT let that 7-1/2 pound rifle kick your ass!"
He was all about the Crab-Claws and "Are you gonna' hold a beer like a woman, or like this? "
Then again- it usually "took" us about 10-15 mins to set up the mini-grinder because Sgt. Fuller LOVED playing the foot locker shuffle and "portside starboard side right now." Sgt. Fullers favorite (aside from slaying bodies) was 2 sheets and a blanket.
Hell yeah, show those hoo'ahs how it's done. I know those assholes like to talk shit about our branch all the time. Don't let 'em get away with shit when they act stupid: "Who us?"
Thank you for your service, Marine. Semper Fi! USAF BMTS was never like this, at least not in '83. Extended from six weeks, more like Army or Marine training, I've heard, but still. Will remember my TI. Made me the woman I am today. Yes, Sir. God bless you, Sir!
What? what do you know about it? you went to Army "basic training"...only us Marines know about the reall boot camp, this is exactly how it is in recruit training.
we have a former Sgt.Mayor helping us out in our armed drill team. He taught the Marine Corps ROTC Drill team at the University of Washington. One thing though for the people reading this jrotc is not the military I know that so shut the fuck up
hey SSgt. Nichols get us some videos of these guys on the parade deck making those heels strike the deck! I always loved to listen to 3rd phase recruits driving those heels into the deck. When I was stationed at MCAS Beaufort I'd ride over to Parris Island and watch the recruits drill. Its a beautiful thing!
Really awesome... everytime i watch drill or anything at boot camp, bad memories come back and i love it. You drill instructors are very professional. Thanks for the Upload SSgt
