In Canada they have "free" health care. Canadians still pay for health care indirectly, like through taxes. The government regulates health care but mostly everything else is left for private citizens to control. I think that sounds pretty good--the only downside is that Canada has a bunch of political parties fighting against each other instead of just the democrats and the republicans in the US. Thoughts?
Just leave Canada alone and mind your own business. Our health care works perfectly for us and the majority of the Canadians will not have it otherwise. I don't think it's too hard to become Canadian, and if you still want dual-citizenship I think they allow that. As for the business, the economy here still isn't bad (at least not as bad as the US) so I think it could definitely work out well.

The other day I took my sister to emergency. We waited fifteen minutes and then they did a bunch of tests on her. Gave her a prescription (which her work pays 85% of) and sent her home. We didn't pay a dime. Nor will we ever pay a dime.
