This is a awesome looking gun, however it has severe issues that makes it a terrible buy. The lower reciever is made in crappy pot metal that can not handle the recoil. In our team 4 of 4 WE PDW`s has cracked in the lower reciever and in the folding stock lock. Its impossible to repair and WE will not refund or send a new so you will have to buy a new for 80 dollars. WE have been terrible answering questions and our team will never buy anything from WE again.
i really loved my AWSS PDW until the lower receiver broke in two pieces in the back. the crappy pot metal just couldnt handle the force of the heavy metal bolt hitting it over and over and now I am out 300 bucks. WE still has not responded to me when i have tried to contact them about it...
does anyone kow where i can get a replacement bolt for my AWSS PDW? I dont want to convert to open bolt because i already have mags and an RA tech NPAS for my AWSS PDW but my bolt has a crack in it.
so i was stoke to play it for the first time on the field but pisssed off that it was blowing excess gas out of the barrel. i'm from southern California and it's pretty warm so i don't know why the rifle was not shooting well. plus gas blowback is no competition to electric. my ass was getting owned on the field. 35 bb's is not enough against 400+ bb's coming at you. there for, i F'n i wasted my money for this!!! boooo!!

@Jensenvet that's the reason you buy an aeg. The magazines hold much more bbs, most are realistic in weight, and they don't break near as often as gbbs.

@Conan117117 Dude, oyu have understand why the M4 got banned: It is because there are LOTS of M4 parts available in the civilian market that ATF clalimed to be compatible with our M4-series GBBs. The PDW is an entirely different story: It has yet been produced commercially & NO spare parts of the RS gun is available anyway in the U.S. Furthermore, the upper/lower receivers designs are different than that on the M4, so NO M4 part is compatible with this gun.
for all of you at WE, you should make an gbb vector, that would be awsome for all of those people that like cqb and like pistols. Also make an grenade launcher for the PDW. respond to my coments.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD please make and offer for sale the right pistol grip for this gun. The pistol grip you guys have included with this gun is not even close to looking like the real thing. I can't tell you how uncomfortable it is.
Even the cheap electric DBoys guns have the right grip.
I know TSC makes the right grip too but you can only get it if you buy there $225 dollar CNC lower kit. I'd gladly buy one of these if you ever offered the right KAC PDW grip.
@Wepen935k The open bolt system has a totally diff. hop up system. It is also used now on our new M14 & G39 series. This hop up is capable of beating most AEG hop up in both accuracy & ease of adjustment.
@striker619k you can adjust it right thru the ejection port. The adjustment knob is the black serrated ring at the front end of the brass tube (towards the muzzle at the front of the ejection port))

@striker619k That I do not have an answer for... you better check with your local dealer for the regulations. WE do not manufacture any silencer for any of our guns.
@striker619k NO, the gun comes standard with just gas mags. But you can purchase the M4 Co2 mag to use with this gun. One 12g Co2 capsule will give you 40-50 shots (1.5 mags), so in most cases (e.g. Mil/LEO training), the operator will change out the Co2 capsule after each mag is emptied.
@striker619k the gun's fpa very much depends on what country/region the gun is sold. WE factory-tuned the products according to the laws & regulations of the specific countries/regions.
@xxMRGRENADExx This got the brass tube & the open bolt doesn't. Both perform same, just different systems. the brass tube version will handle Co2 a little better & the open bolt is a bit more gas efficient.
WE hasn't always been the best of quality airsoft replicas but there newer pistol are made of a much better metal. The gas usage is my only complaint on WE guns still.

@mrpinkice there's no 'standard' fps; in fact we tune the gun at the factory according to our clients request and/or their countries' regulations. However, individual shops may choose to purchase their stock from any of a few different ways (proper distribution channels, 'bootleg' from oversea, or 'smuggle' in from any given countries that the gun is sold, etc); they do these for diff. reasons that I don't want to discuss here, but they do it any way. So the word 'standard' is irrelevant here.
@WEairsoft, If i were to order one or two of these, how would i need to go about making sure that it shoots around 300 fps? You say you tune to clients request in the comment that i'm replying to.

If they import our guns (legally & officially thru our international division, WETTI), then they would have made sure that all the guns are done according to the laws of the land. We are a wholesale-only manufacturer & we do not do any individual retail sales, therefore we do not offer any individual tuning of the gun for any end users.

the NAPS kit is NOT our product; we have no info. on it at all. It is something 3rd-party manufacturer offers for our product; installing it on our stock gun will void any factory warranty on the gun.
M4 mag will work in M4/M16-series, T-91, 4168, & PDW. SCAR mag will work only in the SCAR. They may look the same, but the seating height of the loading nozzle is slight different between the 2 mags, thus NOT cross-platform compatible.
this gun interesets me and i would like to know do you have to lube this like a gas pistol if so can you explain to me how or make a video and also this can rune off of lubed propane right?
I'm not going to do a video lubing a gun, but I can tell you that you should lube this gun very lightly, just like a real firearm. regular silicon lubricant will do. One thing to remember: Do not put lube on the hop up rubber! That is all.

Got my WE PDW recently, to summarize this gun is amazing hands down. You should maintain this gun just like a real steal(firearm) if you want it to function properly, but overall there are no issues for now and i love it.
I bought the open bolt versio nof this gun. This gun is AWSOME, but i verymuch dislike the open bolt system. The spring holding the nozel to the bolt was the first to give in. I had to remove that. Then, the spring that pulls the bolt forward broke at the back and i had to make a new one. Now, i am sending the gun back because the recoil from the gun caused the stock to sheer off the lower reciever. I blame this on the open bolt system. If your going to get this gun, buy the regulare verson.

you guys should really make a SR-15 E3 IWS GBB. Alot of people would buy that because its good for left and right handed shooters. Not just the selector switch is ambidextrous but the: bolt release,mag release are ambidextrous.
When will the regular AWSS system be avalible for purchas for those of us who bought the open bolt system, and dont like it? I own the gun and i have to say its a hi end gun that preforms well, and the open bolt system is very nice, but when i bought it i wasnt thinking about the fact that every new mag i buy, i need to halve a specail head for the mag.

However, individual shops may choose to purchase their stock from any of a few different ways (proper distribution channels, 'bootleg' from oversea, or 'smuggle' in from any given countries that the gun is sold, etc); they do these for diff. reasons that I don't want to discuss here, but they do it any way. So the word 'standard' is irrelevant here.

@57world57 I believe you will have to inquire with you local dealer about this. If they import our guns (legally & officially thru our international division, WETTI), then they would have made sure that all the guns are done according to the laws of the land. We are a wholesale-only manufacturer & we do not do any individual retail sales, therefore we do not offer any individual tuning of the gun for any end users.

the NAPS kit is NOT our product; we have no info. on it at all. It is something 3rd-party manufacturer offers for our product; installing it on our stock gun will void any factory warranty on the gun.

M4 mag will work in M4/M16-series, T-91, 4168, & PDW. SCAR mag will work only in the SCAR. They may look the same, but the seating height of the loading nozzle is slight different between the 2 mags, thus NOT cross-platform compatible.

the SCAR mag will not work with the PDW, the M4's will. The SCAR's mag & the M4 mag are not compatible.

I'm not going to do a video lubing a gun, but I can tell you that you should lube this gun very lightly, just like a real firearm. regular silicon lubricant will do. One thing to remember: Do not put lube on the hop up rubber! That is all.

Got my WE PDW recently, to summarize this gun is amazing hands down. You should maintain this gun just like a real steal(firearm) if you want it to function properly, but overall there are no issues for now and i love it.

I bought the open bolt versio nof this gun. This gun is AWSOME, but i verymuch dislike the open bolt system. The spring holding the nozel to the bolt was the first to give in. I had to remove that. Then, the spring that pulls the bolt forward broke at the back and i had to make a new one. Now, i am sending the gun back because the recoil from the gun caused the stock to sheer off the lower reciever. I blame this on the open bolt system. If your going to get this gun, buy the regulare verson.

you guys should really make a SR-15 E3 IWS GBB. Alot of people would buy that because its good for left and right handed shooters. Not just the selector switch is ambidextrous but the: bolt release,mag release are ambidextrous.

When will the regular AWSS system be avalible for purchas for those of us who bought the open bolt system, and dont like it? I own the gun and i have to say its a hi end gun that preforms well, and the open bolt system is very nice, but when i bought it i wasnt thinking about the fact that every new mag i buy, i need to halve a specail head for the mag.
