How do you prep your canvas for airbrushing? Can anybody help me with this question!

Ummm this was on a pre-prepped canvas panel.....so I went directly to painting on it's surface with no prep.

yes i also want to know how long did you take before finishing this workshop and als did you used a projector for the basic lines or did you just do it by free hand.let me know because im also a airbrush artist from holland

This took 2 days to complete- but it can be done in a single day if I were to work long hours.

I used an opaque projector to project the sketch lines- then freehand and some hand painting to complete it.

Thanks again for the kind words......paintings like these take me about 2 days to complete.....but they can be rushed and done in 1 day if I need to hurry.

I think Createx is a fantastic acrylic paint- the best I've used for airbrushing water-based paint.

I hand painted the larger areas of like color then airbrushed the details.....not really allot to say- it's a basic paint by numbers approach.

I see you're using createx. How did you use them? By that I mean did you thin them or use them at high pressure on the canvas? I've tried them for artwork and find they produce a lot of overspray also.

I have heard many times that they are not that good for artwork, but you produced some amazing results with them, so I was just curious.
