Indians and Pakistanis never sit anywhere without bickering like spoiled children fighting over sweets. Can't you guys just enjoy the music and stop politicising everything. We are all from the same origins and cultural background, the message of the Sufis and the Bhagats are the same, so stop always throwing religion around. I'm Pakistani and I consider music from India to be a gift, I love Jagjit and Chitra Singh, and of course Lata Ji as well.

Great Interview. To me still Rafi Sahib is the best singer of the subcontinent . The most versatile , and precious singing manners. No one during the interviews gives him their due. I was listening to Asha Bhosle's new album where she sounded so good at 75. If Rafi sahib were alive today using today's technology then the world would have known what he was!! , But I don't agree with Noor Jehan saying Lata is the best , maybe she was biased for her friend.

Yeah I know. For a muslim, only a muslim can be the best singer. I am sure your fav actor is dilip kumar or shahrukh khan.

@ptramjoshi Actually , my favourite actor is Amitabh Bachan. I can't believe you have to be so narrow minded. See Manna De is not a muslim but his favorite singer is Rafi Sahib and to him he is the best India ever produced , I think I seem to have the same opinion ; regardless of my relegion.

@mrcoolchap89. I see that Pakistanis are too much appreciative of rafi and dilip kumar, calling rafi's voice as divine and what not. There is no mention of kishore kumar or mukesh at all as if their voice was from the shaitaan. Same thing goes to dilip kumar. He was great but not the greatest. There are so many kapoors and khannas (like in om shanti om), amitabh of course and dev anand. No Pakistani seems to like dev anand, a kafir who was equally famous as dilip kumar and was of the same era.

@ptramjoshi With all due respect , Bro I would like to say that stop stereotyping Pakistani's. I mean if this was like that , do you think there would be a demand of Indian movies in Pakistan? would Pakistani people listen to Indian music. Stop generalizing because of one or two individuals that tarnish the name of the country they belong to. @ptramjoshi i'm a pakistani but i can tell u that i like kishore more than anybody ... rafi sab is also gr8 ...jus to say that i donnt like somebody's huge talent bcz he doesnt believe in wot i believe would b plane dumb. we all have one God. God is no different to a hindu muslim christian or sikh.. its jus that we believe in different ways of approaching him. dilip kumar's only movie i've seen is mughal-e-azam but i'm a big fan of dharam jee and amitab.

hello. I am an indian and there is no one compared to Mohd rafi.The same fight is going on with my other freinds on who is great. Since my freinds are indians who appreciate kishore kumar, but i will declare war on pakistan if you say that kishore is better than rafi saab.
