To be honest, this is all fantastic and look how far we've come from the early 1900s... but all the energy consumption involved in this is just unbelieveable. Imagine if you had a storm, a hurricane, or any other natural disaster. All that energy, money, time... all wasted. Again, this is beyond spectacular, but some things need to stay the same. 1) Many of these new applications aren't only used in work life but also in private use and that's imho the point. Many people don't recognize how much time they are loosing when caring about the news, wheather, news, friends profiles on social networks, aso. They take less and less time for themselves instead of e.g. laying back and being happy. These new applications will increase this phenomenom.
