I think what always helps is instrumental accompaniment. Keeps a nice pace to the song and takes a little pressure off the singer. Great rendition

this is lip synced, at like 1:47, she misses the "oh say...." and comes in late, and at the end, she finished a split-second too soon.. great preformance, but it means more if it's live not pre-recorded.
