like I understand how my yota does well because of its independent fronts, but how the hell does a jeep with straight axles not get high centered in sticky ass mud where my yota does?

I mean I made it up a trail that Jeeps couldn't make it up, but they somehow get their Dana 30s buried in mud and make it through, where my independent fronts don't even drag the ground.

yeah it's like I can crawl over shit way better than my buddy's YJ, but the minute we hit sticky mud, it's like he's the one with independents and I have straight axles. I get stuck every damn time. I think it may have to do with the fact that he has 33x12.50 mud tires and I have some shitty bald 31x10.50 kelly safari tires... then the fact that the YJ is more balanced and only has a 2.5 4-banger and I have a heavier 3VZ V6 in my truck.
