  • @GBNKP Hahaha, I might do that cause it molted out and looks male.

  • @ihagtafuith haha, awesome! dave it is! awesome T though, im thinking of getting myself a king baboon soon! is yours difficult to look after?

  • nice spider. why didnt they tell you she was missing a leg? do u own a cobalt if so can u post a vid

  • @MegaGhit I don't think they even knew but it doesn't matter cause they usually grow them back after a molt. She molted but she hid herself nicely so I can't tell if she grew back the leg. Once she comes out for food I will have an update vid on her.

  • she lost a leg

  • yeah, that sounds like premolt behavior. But, anyway. Yeah OBT's are awesome. Let me know when you join the bite club lol. OBT's often tend to be the ones to give the initiation lol.

@kevin91172 Mine was named jack the pumpkin king from nightmare before x-mas lol N now that you got me thinkin about it. Check out Haplopus sp. Columbia AKA the pumkin patch tarantula. Awesome T that reminds me of this season :)

  • THOSE GUYS ARE FUN!! I HAVE I FEW,AND ARE BEAUTIFUL,PRETTY COMMON IN THE HOBBY NOW BUT STILL GET NEW ONES LIKE TODAY GOT 2 MORE SLINGS..JUST LOVE THEM.I HAVE ONE THAT IS RED COLOR FORM,BUT I PREFER THE REGULAR LIKE YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIMES THE BLUFF SLAP WHICH STILL CAN BE JUST AS SPOOKY ENOUGH!

hey THERE YOU GO,CALL HER SPOOKY!!!!! ALMOST HALLOWEEN AND SHE IS ORANGE LIKE A PUMPKIN,THERE YOU GO CALL HER PUMPKIN..oK i AM DONE LOL!!!

  • yeah that is a very beautiful tarantula i have one and they are great webbers and great eaters can't wait to watch her grow up

  • 2:39 Beautiful! Awesome spider. Always wanted one of those, just have to mind the behaviour lol

  • Nice new addition, I got an OBT a few weeks ago, I thought he was a male when he arrived and then yesturday he molted out into a mature male so now I need to find him a girlfriend lol

  • she is very ppuurrrttyyy :D

  • @skypiercer03 She sure is :D

  • I might get myself a obt :)

  • @brutt128 You know at first when I looked at her at the petstore, I'm like "Really Sam, you want one of these??" lol but the more I checked her(hope it's a her) out she just became more interesting to me and of course the price helped alot lol

  • @ihagtafuith hehe, I really really want a e.murinus tho

  • named her Murveta XD

  • @10Hidajed26 That's an interesting name. I went with Mura, I think it fits her well. Thanks for the suggestion :)

  • @ihagtafuith XD no no dude Murveta is a female Bosnian name :D Mura was a company for cloathes in slovenia but not works annymore LOL

  • @ihagtafuith Nice choice. "Mura" means "cheap" here in the Phil. You got her at 19$ so yeah lol :D

  • yeah new T. i got a sling i think last feb they are the best slings to get, its very fun when rehouseing.

mine is very arborial never borrowed

good luck with her : D

  • @tarantulamatt Yeah I'm surprised at her being quite docile, in a defensive way lol. She just threat postured, didn't attack at all. She's fun.

  • She looks wild caught, which is fine. I gotta say, Pterinochilus murinus is one of my absolute favorite species. They have attitude, stridulate a bit, attack food like a hate crime, and are just flat out beautiful with their orange body/blue-green pads combo. Congrats! I hope you have her for many years!

  • @xxxMrAwesomexxx Wild Caught? hmm.

  • @ihagtafuith I would guess so by the wear on her exo and also the lost leg. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened upon her capture or packing and shipment etc. This is purely speculation of course. I could be way off. I do know for a fact that adults are typically wild caught and imported because dealers and even hobbyists don't raise these to sell at adult size. Considering their price and availability it's simply not worth it investment wise. Good luck though bro! Definitely a personal fave

  • haha, gotta love the OBT's. I had a female that had bought from a petstore missing 3 legs. They gave her to me cheap due to the legs. But, she got them back within 2 molts. This sp. is truely tough as nails. I didn't give mine a hide just 2.5 in. sub. in a 5 gal, with come pothos. Thats just my prefrance. They will web anything and evertthing.. Mine made her own hide.

  • @cdemanelis Come to think of it I probably shouldn't have given her a hide either, she buried herself in there and sealed the door shut! lol. I think she is gearing up for a molt soon because if you look at the deli cup she was in, there is a dead cricket on the side. You would think the petstore would have sold her cheap cause of the missing leg but all their obt's are for $19 :)

  • 19 bucks nice man :)

  • @Usambara Sure is :)
