I just attacked Babel's first form, then restarted, then repeated, tons and tons of times with my MC and his Power Hit, maxed out attack stat, and Pierce, and then I found out that using only one demon increased your chances of having an extra turn, which I utilized.

So, when my MC beat down Babel the first time it attacked him, I was jumping for joy at completing the game in my first playthrough, until I realized that Babel had a second form, which promptly destroyed each of my characters.

Lucifer? Yeah, it's tough, but definitely not impossible. I considered killing him to be the most satisfying moment of the game.

To those having trouble: Try having Phys Drain on most/all your demons. The reinforcements and Lucifer's Hassohoppa/Attack All/Mighty Hit will heal you, then. Phys Repel and a quick Shield All will buy you extra turns in the first phase, where he has Pierce.

Holy Dance. Tyranny. Drain. If you don't have all three, you'll have problems.

Beating Lucifer is like beating I Wanna Be the Guy: it's goddamned hard, and when I say "hard", I mean goddamned fucking bloody HARD. Even when all your characters and demons are lvl 99 with Holy Dance, you still will lose most of the times. Megidoladyne hurts everyone like hell from the first hit, and goes upwards, but the worst is that he can attack up to 6 times everytime you engage him, and has several forms, and is tough as nails. (Megidolaon only inflicts around 200 damage even with 40 Mg)

When i fought lucifer, i think i lasted maybe 30 seconds the first time i tried... luckily as i trained more i got to around level 90.... but i still lost....>_<

i havent tried lucifer yet as i went naoya route. seriously naoya's route boss was freaking insane, just barely survived that one with everyone at around lvl 75, meaning characters and demons. is lucifer just an extra boss or do you fight him on the neutral routes?

@AgitatedCookies Well... I went the same route... BUT HOW IN HELL DID YOU GET TO LEVEL 75?! AND to make matters worse... YOU HAD TROUBLE?! I beat Babel at level 63, maybe I just got lucky, maybe I beat him the easy way.

Give your phys attacker pierce and your magical attacker elemental dances (elec is a must), everyone needs some form of physical resistance (Rangda is the lowest level demon to both know and have phys repel). I won on my second attempt by planning ahead.

@UltimaMan323 I went the haru/gin route. LUCIFER IS HARD. You need holy dance/phys repel/drain and a bunch of others just to survive

I grinded with everyone to 99 just to defeat Lucifer. That includes Loki, Astaroth AND Hecate, just to have enough Tyrants to push his turn back and prevent him from frying me with Megidoladyne. >_>

Not that it was needed, especially Hecate. I heard that Lucy can be defeated in 80`s if you use the Recarm strategy. Well, I did and I barely beat him at Lv.99. I do suck at strategy though, I had almost no physical defense and Lucy kept doing (over nine) thousands of damage with Hassohappa...

The thing is, he DOES over nine thousand of damage, because the damage output of Hassohappa depends on the HP of the attacker, and since Lucy has impossible amount of HP...well, it was a wake-up for me for sure.

First time I fought Lucifer I thought it'd be doable since my MC could pretty much nuke everything in the game. So I attack him, spam Megidoloan, barely tickle him, and die.

No, when you fight the Bels again, Coldheartedness plays, but this plays when you attack Babel itself.

The boss lucifer is an uber looking demon tat is lv 99 and almost imune to all types of att. so far i got brutally owned so easily any tips on how to beat it plz reply back.

Having endure is helpful and attacking far away with a powerful dragon might help also

it doesn't have to be a dragon it could be anything with chaos or evil wave is good. Double up might prove useful also because you can start a battle twice. If you don't want to attack from far awat using Extra one and dual shadow would be good
