  • Hello!

I would like to buy some finches. And it would be great to have them nesting, I only would not like to keep with the babies, since I do not have a lot of room for them. What does people usually do with the finches' babies?

  • They are both male zebra finches

  • Ma é frocio quel bengalino che corteggia l'altro maschio??? :))

  • The one dislike is a fuckin 'FUNCH!

  • this vid made ,y bird singing like crazy :)

  • I never thought of these guys as loud but I guess that's because we got them after we got our sun conure ;)

  • Hmm... cute but these little guys are noisy yeah? I was thinking about getting a couple for my small apartment but not sure if they'll keep me awake at night. Any thoughts?

  • @fourtywpm

    they sleep at night :)

  • @fourtywpm i have 7 zebra finches and they don't make a peep at night and even in the day they aren't noisy at all plus when it starts getting just a little darker outside like 6 or 7 they don't make any noise and settle down. they are great pets and are really easy to take care of too, it's also fun to see them play because they are really comical. just to let you know they have to be kept in pairs because they are VERY social birds and may commit suicide if left by themself

  • how look it takes to them to lay eggs after nesting?

  • i had those finches wen i was little! omg i miss them ):

  • Hi,If you know about them more i have a question would appreciate if u can help me...

I just got 2 from my friend but both are males, the cage is 20 inches high and 18 wide. Would it be a small place for them if i buy two more female.... is that possible to keep them like that and would they breed or fight??

    Thanks.

  • If you wanted to add a couple of females, it would be a good idea to get a larger cage. That is pretty small to have 4 finches. The other alternative would be to see if you could trade 1 of the males for a female and just have the 1 pair.

  • @mavimet

thanks a lot, will see... I have plan to buy two female, get one more cage and separate them cause they are so beautiful....

    Hugs...

  • can you keep these and budgies together?

  • I wouldn't. If there is no breeding going on and if the cage is large enough, they MIGHT be ok, but I would not take the chance. The finches would be fine with Cockatiels since they are not as aggressive as Budgies though.

  • @Dillon1108 i had 5 finches (society and zebra) in the cage with a parakeet before and they NEVER fought, but then i got another parakeet and had to seperate them, my cage was 2 feet by 1 foot, but idk if you'll have the same thing happen:P

  • My boyfriend just got four of these little cuties. I got to name the littlest baby :). She sounds like a lazer gun when she sings, but the others sound alot like yours.

  • If the cage is large enough to accommodate 4 active birds comfortably they would be ok, but I wouldn't keep male/female pairs together.

  • I would like to know if I can keep two Zebra finches and two canaries together in the same cage? Just wondering if not, I'll buy two Zebra Finches

  • Finces are great!! But,your one is the most. Thanks to it's freandly nature.

  • babyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • those are some good lookin' little guys

  • I want a pair!
