@punkrockchicken247 This is not a trailer. it's actually called a teaser. it's a commercial. before the trailer airs, it gets people hyped up. but never really show anything about the movie. this is an ad that gets people talking about it. it teases the audience.

lots of other movies, games, TV series, use this ad approach. you can shoot yourself again.

I've always wondered how the first episode was supposed to end. The final product ended with the bigot being shipped off to a concentration camp.  The scene of that terrible accident had him rescuing two vietemese children in Vietnam, it seems the character was going to have some sort of redemption.

This is a controversial movie because 1 man and 2 children died because John Landis, along with special effects crew, had poor judgment on set. I won't go into detail about it cause you can search for it and it's very gruesome. Because of what happened, I have to boycott this movie. I'm sure it was an accident, but until John Landis faces responsibility for his part, he should have been faced with manslaughter.

You are right -- it can't bring back those people. However, it becomes a moral issue. My point is Landis won't take responsibility -- it was his ignorance in dealing with the situation. He ignored warnings and still chose to go on with the movie, but I am not just blaming Landis. There were other people involved, knowing very well it was dangerous, including Vic Marrow, who chose to continue. To me, supporting this movie is the same as supporting this type of negligent behavior.

People always look for someone to blame. It's really pathetic. We can't face the fat that it WAS an accident. Sometimes, there's nothing you can do. In this case, the fact that he has to live with the memory of that event is punishment enough. How do you think the pilot of the helicopter, who did survive, feels? Enough about the accident. It's not like they're ringing their hands with delight over the death of those people.
