@captainasc01 Triggers are actually used to create nodes on MIDI track that measures velocity and note placement. when someone mentions triggers for drumming, its usually referencing the timing of when the drum hit is fixed, which is frowned upon amongst old school metalheads.

@captainasc01 Of course Triggers do not make you play faster, but they have a LOT to do do keeping it "even" sounding. IF you play a bit sloppy (hit harder with right then left, for exmple it will clean that up and trust me it sounds shitty when uneven. Bass drum triggers will help.....BIG TIME. So they will help make it sound a lot faster.
