it's very versatile--and he can hit the topspin. I'm kind of inspired now because I think it's so tiring to hit the topspin, why not just slice..

She's quite decent. Her serve return is lobby. Her serve is a redeeming quality. Forehand = either on or off; when it's on it's good. Biggest sources of error = backhand & feeding it right to her opponents racket.

You do realize that in my 5 years var and 10 years of jv back home, my job was to play the first and second singles players and give analysis and feedback... and when it came close to me losing... I would drop, lob, chip, dink... :D it was ugly but that's a very hard style to defeat.

she's really smart though, because Ricky has a mean lefty serve which she is neutralizing by placing back deep. For her to even return his serve--which he can hit flat, slice, and kick. that's impressive. she's 15
