I look at it this way, from a business point of view. ''The Undertaker 20-0'' vs ''The Undertaker 19-1'' - the second one doesn't make an epic dvd title does it.
I think Undertaker will face a random Oponent at Wrestlemania. This Random man will be Brock Lesnar. I think so because Lesnar quit MMA/UFC, Lesnar is the highlite of The videogame WWE 12 and it would be a very big return for Brock Lesnar!!!
IT would be STUPID if Undertakers streak wont be broken. After Taker is gone people will still debate who should had beaten takers streak and his legend will still be remembered after long he is gone. Taker should lose the streak to a guy that can solidify himself and claim for the rest of his career he has beaten taker at mania.
All the names you list... dont fit... even the Rock! would be not good enought to break this streak. Seriously.. why it should be broken? Wouldnt it better if he never get beaten and leave this buissnes someday as bigger leagend as he is now?
There's only one man that can end the streak. One legend. One IMMORTAL. The greatest wrestler of all time.... that man..... is HULK HOGAN. Book it Vince!
I think Triple h is the only guy that can claim the end of the Undertaker's streak and HE WILL.. Simply because he is the only guy left from an era that is NO LONGER. Undertaker pretty much said the same thing in their ring promo for WM27 (with HBK) last year "IF I EVER GOT TO A TIME WHERE I FELT SOMEONE SHOULD PUT ME DOWN I WOULD WANT THAT PERSON TO BE YOU" Now 1 year later look at the promo's for this years WM28 Its Undertaker who want's to face Triple H. Hmmm!!! Undertaker is about to retire.
@tee85 undertaker with 99% chance will go undefeated until the end. but 100% sure will not loose to hhh. he will loose to someone who needs to be majorly promoted as the next big star
@PJohnson223 i call bullshit he only has two things in common with the undertaker he's big (so are a lot of guys) and he is neon white like taker when first showed up in wwf
Who I think who will end the streak well Triple H will be facing The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania. I think The Undertaker will lose to Triple H inside Hell in a Cell if you see Triple H inside Hell in a Cell he becomes a different person you know Triple H ends careers just like Mike Foley. You know ask Mike Foley he been in the Cell with both Undertaker and Triple H but ask Mike Foley who is Dangerous inside the Cell so go ask him.But I will pick Triple H at Wrestlemania.
Having somebody end Taker's streak wouldn't have a significant impact on anyone's career in the long run, it'd just be a quick boost. Weigh that up against how much it would negatively affect Taker's legacy and you're onto a loser. Being in the 'Mania match with Taker would be enough of a boost. The rest they would have to do themselves. You could end up with a 'Billy Gunn' situation where someone who has potential but never makes it all the way has something like that on their record.
@corbenj So you're basically saying have Chris Jericho (who was no more than an upper-card hand) going over the two biggest stars in wrestling history to be the first Undisputed Champion only gave him a temporary boost, and didn't help him in the long run?
Look at WWE without Triple H, Chris Jericho, HBK, Edge and Undertaker. If no one goes over Taker you have a down period with no way to solidify a future. Someone goes over, he's a new megastar and infinitely credible.
@ThesXeB34ST No. I mean there's no guarantee that having someone end Taker's streak would result in 'The Next Big Thing'. It could've happened with Chris Jericho (unlikely though as he's always 'It'.) I just think that with WWE's 'Boom and Bust' handling of the pushes of guys like Ziggler, Sheamus and McIntyre you could end up with some 'Flash in the Pan' that has the distinction of ending Taker's run. They could've done it a while ago with certain people but the writing needs sorting first.
@corbenj Really you think Vince McMahon cares about people's "legacys"? He would end Taker's streak in a second if he thought it was good for business i.e. putting someone else over knowing that Taker can't physically compete anymore. If you don't believe me look at what they did to RVD
@hardcorebob19 I agree that McMahon wouldn't care. I just don't think it'd be a good idea. It's too risky. I need to ask you what you mean by what they did to RVD. The old noggin needs a jump start on that one. I've forgotten shitloads in recent years.
If the Undertaker loses it would only prove that time caught up to him. The same thing happened in Hogan's case. After his four year title reign ended Hogan was tired and deserved a much needed vacation. For the rest of his career he would win and lose the belt numerous times. The Undertaker's legend like Hogan's is secure no matter what happens. The younger generation of stars will never catch up to them even if Vince allows them to win the belt 100 times apiece.
if its not triple h i dont want to see it end! for me the only good way the streak would end, would be if triple h ended it... triple h had done everything, won everything, hes one steal cages, hell in the cell's, elimination chambers, the only thing he has to do to make triple h's career complete is end the streak and i hope it happens... all hail the king!!
listening to this whole thing Sheamus kinda reminds me of the unstoppable power of The Undertaker, when they both debut'ed they where powerful Heels when they both went face they both had the entire crowds behind them. And I think Sheamus could be the next Phenominal guy, rather Taker go into history as Undefeated @ WM
wwe should listen to what the fanswant, they love money right? get brock lesnar to break his streak. Or goldberg. Those are the only two i can see doing it. But to bad its only a fantasy full of excitement. While they choose hhh again to try. Something we seen already...
plain and simple their are very VERY few wrestlers today that I would allow to end the streak, Orton, Hes the future of the company, Cena but not happening now, hes having a ratings match with rock and rock will say see ya after that win or lose, simply put their is no one else besides cena and orton. I like Dolph but not happening and should not anyway, wwe in deep shit when Taker retire, wrestling fan since the 80's here, wwe is NOTHING like it oncewas, gimmick era put them on map, return to it
if its ANYONE who should beat his streak, It should be Kane. for some reason i see KANE the only one who should beat him. Anyone else wouldnt make any sense but Undertaker shouldnt have anyone end the streak. EVER
I'm hating the fact that it's HHH VS TAKER AGAIN.... seriously... Drew McIntyre vs Taker would have been better... or Shaemus vs Taker, or hell, even Hornswaggle vs Taker would have been funny to watch....
It probably will never happen but I seriously wanted Goldberg to end the streak but after hbk and hhh lost it feels like no one can he will be immortal
nobody should end the streak. takers been busting his butt for wwe for over 20 years. he deserves to retire undefeated! and breaking the streak would be a big slap in the face for all of us taker fans
Nobody should end his streak. He should win, Fall down, but sit up. Then call his minions in, with a catus, And say "I will rest in peace-Imortalty.." Then leave , with his streak never broken,
Taker had the best match at the last 3 WM's. And arguably 3 of the top 10 matches of his career. All this overrated talk...? Taker IMO is the epitome of underrated. He will never be said in the same breath with Hogan, Stone Cold, Rock, Flair, Michaels, etc...But he should be.
Undertaker is dead , he should have retired when he was still good , I dont know maybe at WrestleMania 26 (2010) at 18-0 . Now hes bald and just Mark Calaway .
I've read in nodq.com some time ago that triple h will face taker at wm28 but Shawn micheals is gonna be special guest referee and I heard there gonna screw the undertaker's streak
In my opinion, the only one who is worthy enough to end the streak is Shawn Michaels. If he didn't end it, then nobody else should. If Triple H ends it, then we all know some back stage politics were involved.
For purely nostalgic reasons, I'd pick Kane. Come on, no one could top that. He's the guy Taker's character has interacted with the most, and Kane and Taker's relationship is one of the longest running storylines in the WWE. I would love one final great match in which the brothers either settle the score once and for all, or come to some sort of ominous understanding before Taker leaves. You cannot possibly bring Taker's legacy to a close without one final nod to the legacy of the great BoD.
And I don't know what Jacobs' plans are for the future, but for some reason I always imagined that if he and Calaway were to retire at the same time their final match would be against one another and the Brothers of Destruction end up destroying each other, thereby simultaneously ending their long reigns in the WWE. That would be a fitting ending and tribute :)
Only problem is I don't think enough interest can be generated in time for an umpteenth Taker vs Kane match. Also, I don't think Calaway and Jacobs are physically capable of pulling off a match worthy of Taker's last. Storywise, Taker vs Kane would be the most fitting, but in reality they will most likely go with someone else.
i support you man.. plus kane is the first person to physically dominate the deadman.. remember WM14? their 1st encounter, that was epic.. kane WAS the first man to dominate taker in every term and he didn't (as far as i know) use any types of weapon whatsoever.. so for me.. it should be kane.. if taker and HHH 3 will happen this year.. I'm sure its a 20-0 but still who knows..
Who should beat the undertaker who really I don't no I can't see a superstar in it atm who could beat him sheamus could do but he hasn't had the history of wwe so i personally don't fink he would be atm but in about 5 more years sheamus will still be here undertaker won't be so it needs to be somebody who been in it for about 10 years I think personnally randy orton a heel randy also he's 3 generation so it makes sence he's got a legacy with the wwe
The one who truly deserved to end Undertaker's streak was Shawn Michaels. It's just too sad how such a legend has his career ended with him losing. I'd be much more pleased if HBK retired after beating the Undertaker.
Does anyone even consider that this is probably his last match his career his legacy and he in all likely hood his desicion he can work his last match with whoever the fuck he wants!
Seriously though if Takers streak does end i hope its not to some old has been that will be retiring themselves in the near future or John Cena, i think they have pushed him as far as they can. A fresh new worthy opponent is needed to end Takers streak. According to Angle, taker want him to end his streak and i think at the time he would have been a credible opponent, maybe Taker should decide on who ends his streak.
it should go 20 and 0 .Having HHH beat him is stupid yet i am sure that is what the WWE will do . WWE does not give fans what they want they tell fans what they want them to want.
Wrestling is not the same when you have a writer that was never a fan doing the story lines
@Bryannia25 i couldnt agree more HHH has too much already i feel taker should retire unbeaten an if he were to loose it should be to someone who is gunna be the next undertaker or stone cold like phenomanon
Sting defeating The Undertaker at a 'WrestleMania'... Seriously???... I wonder how many PG Era little kiddie fans would even know who the fuck Sting is?!
@3LD1ABLO Well, if he was 8-0 Vince would pay him anything, but he will never be The next big thing again. Don't get me wrong, I liked Brock, but his UFC times could have been better.
seriously who wants to see the undertaker vs hhh again he lost 2 times at wrestlemania to taker and hes obviously not gonna win its the most pointless match
I dont want that streak to end. That is the Undertaker's legacy. and a man like him deserves to keep that. It would be pointless to have someone like triple h or Kane to beat him now. He's already beaten both of them twice and they're all nearing the end. And in my opinoin none of the stars today (including CM Punk) deserve to end this.
It would have to be a guy like Wade Barrett I think idk

Also, I don't think Calaway and Jacobs are physically capable of pulling off a match worthy of Taker's last. Storywise, Taker vs Kane would be the most fitting, but in reality they will most likely go with someone else.

@EnigmaDrath
i support you man.. plus kane is the first person to physically dominate the deadman.. remember WM14? their 1st encounter, that was epic.. kane WAS the first man to dominate taker in every term and he didn't (as far as i know) use any types of weapon whatsoever.. so for me.. it should be kane.. if taker and HHH 3 will happen this year..

I think it should stay 20-0. While I love HHH, the marketing machine that is WWE won't let that happen. They want to sell those DVD's, t-shirts, etc.

Is this guy kidding ?! Miz ?! He's not even a real wrestler for God's sakes.

The one who truly deserved to end Undertaker's streak was Shawn Michaels. It's just too sad how such a legend has his career ended with him losing. I'd be much more pleased if HBK retired after beating the Undertaker.

Look at their match-up from 'WrestleMania 20', I don't think it'll be Kane facing The Undertaker.
tthomaselli2 3 weeks ago
Undertaker will go to 20-0.............it would be stupid to end the streak!
POPE806 3 weeks ago
Does anyone even consider that this is probably his last match his career his legacy and he in all likely hood his desicion he can work his last match with whoever the fuck he wants!
brandondalew 3 weeks ago
Seriously though if Takers streak does end i hope its not to some old has been that will be retiring themselves in the near future or John Cena, i think they have pushed him as far as they can. A fresh new worthy opponent is needed to end Takers streak. According to Angle, taker want him to end his streak and i think at the time he would have been a credible opponent, maybe Taker should decide on who ends his streak.
zZHighTimeZz 3 weeks ago
it should go 20 and 0 .Having HHH beat him is stupid yet i am sure that is what the WWE will do . WWE does not give fans what they want they tell fans what they want them to want.
Wrestling is not the same when you have a writer that was never a fan doing the story lines

@Bryannia25 Truth! I agree with all of this.
JayNJayShow 3 weeks ago
@Bryannia25 i couldnt agree more HHH has too much already i feel taker should retire unbeaten an if he were to loose it should be to someone who is gunna be the next undertaker or stone cold like phenomanon
MrrrrrrrrrANARCHY 3 weeks ago
Maybe the gobbledy gooker should come back and end it.

I guess Unertaker will retire after this Wrestlemania anyways, so I think he will retire undefeated at Wrestlemania.

goldberg can end undertaker wrestlemania
roulette72 3 weeks ago
@roulette72 goldberg goes to spear taker but gets a boot to the face. Goldberg tries the jack hammer and taker reverses into the tombstone. 20-0

0:05-0:10.; My main problem with the WWE is after going TV-PG in Mid-2008, they left the TV-14/18-35 male demographic behind.
Since then, it's been Ring Of Honor, UFC, 'TNA Impact', World Extreme Cage-Fighting & other indy pro wrestling promotions.

No one should beat it. He should retire 20-0. Would like to see Taker vs Cena at WM.

Brock Lesnar... Seriouslly???... I wonder how many PG Era little kiddie fans would even know who the fuck Brock Lesnar even is?!
tthomaselli2 3 weeks ago
@3LD1ABLO Well, Brock was a Beast back then, but he lost too many fihts in UFC, so it would hard for WWE to build him as a super human now.
Konni1969 3 weeks ago
@Konni1969 Lost too many fights? He was 5-3.
3LD1ABLO 3 weeks ago
@3LD1ABLO Well, if he was 8-0 Vince would pay him anything, but he will never be The next big thing again. Don't get me wrong, I liked Brock, but his UFC times could have been better.
Konni1969 3 weeks ago
i think his streak will end. it'll be the perfect bookend to his career imo

i don't want to see the streak end put if it was 2 end i think it should be sombody thats starting out is carrer and not going to retire anytime soon

seriously who wants to see the undertaker vs hhh again he lost 2 times at wrestlemania to taker and hes obviously not gonna win its the most pointless match
hbk2hhh 3 weeks ago
Shamus bitches lol
chrisbk27 3 weeks ago
I dont want that streak to end. That is the Undertaker's legacy. and a man like him deserves to keep that. It would be pointless to have someone like triple h or Kane to beat him now. He's already beaten both of them twice and they're all nearing the end. And in my opinoin none of the stars today (including CM Punk) deserve to end this.
