Hey man, nice system,let me ask, does the control on the steering still works after you changed out the head unit? I have an 03 max, and I'm thinking about changing out the head unit but I wouldn't want to loose steering wheel functionality.
i like you maxima alot.. it just what i want.w/the tint/maybee black or pearl white, black leather or tan leather would be awsome,a sick system,new front grill, nice rims, maybee when i get money ill put in an intake and exhaust, and maybee no emblem it
It's running off 1100W @ 1 ohm ... Sub is rated for 1000w since it's just the regular Fi Q nothing like a BTL :)
This video is with out messing with any of the gains or anything.
At the moment it's louder. But you might be thinking the sub isn't powered enough since there isn't much excursion which usually happens without a ported box.
Yeaah it's that rumble that you hear. Got extra sound deadening so I plan on deadening the floors also to quiet it down more. As long as its a low rumble it doesn't bother me much though.

Solid Audio FD11 they don't make em anymore. Arc Audio 400.2 hooked up to Rainbow Audio SLC265.
toucandan I let my buddy take care of it and had different speakers installed. They didn't have any issues that I know of. :D

I purchased the kit from Hifi Buys. Its made by American Intercontinental or AI. Painted it to match stock interior metallic grey.

Yaadman- You'll need to wire the steering wheel controls to get it working with the aftermarket HU. Its the "PAC SWI-X" interface. $60

make sure your freq. is set right on your sub...sounds a little too high but it may just be the song. sounds goo though, enjoy your new system!

It's a Pioneer Premier 780MP :) 16 band eq is what got me. I can get it to sound the way I want to.
darkangeljoy I played that one day lol since it's on the same cd. Then it was also playing on the station at work haha. Maybe it's my song?? ;)
