  • thanks for subtitle. Cool story :)

  • dont put your penis in the elk

  • That's an insanely good hunter!

He got the meat without even firing his gun!

  • That's a DAMN good hunter!

He got the meat without even firing his gun!

  • Great video.I appreciate not letting good food go to waste.I'm sure this wasn't in our original plans, but it was time well spent.

  • im glad you did it..porr animal.. i could feel his pain.. u.u

  • Wait, did it fall before the video started or was that load crashing sound the fall?

  • that thing was fucked up

  • poor moose

but did you see how fucked up it was

broken leg bend all the way back fron the opposite direction and the jaw was fucked up

    5*

  • and why the fuck you have to upload a video like this ??? that's really dont nice to watch!!! ...im a hunter of hunters you shut a moose i shut you....that's fear!!!

  • @danitagirl wow you are hardly understanding.

  • @danitagirl shut the fuck up..bitch....how would you like if i shot you in the ass??

  • @nteem you won a report...nice gentleman...please go to school to learn ORDINARIO!!!

  • @danitagirl he didnt shot it you fucking idiot it fell down the cliff....

  • why didn't u just shoot the poor thing. better then smacking it in the head with an axe.

  • @ohiochickk they didn't take guns with them? and weren't planning on hunting.

  • If you didnt get it...the wolves will...Good job guys on putting use to this moose

  • Good for you for putting the animal out of its misery and for not letting the meat go to waste (although in the forest nothing really goes to waste). In Canada we are not allowed to take the meat if we did not kill it in hunting season (and have the proper tags). Then again you wouldn't want to just run after some sounds in the woods here either - we have Sasquatch here you know! :)

  • nice vid !

seems like a lot of fun with you guys !!

    5*

  • I'm a vegetarian, but I believe it was the right decision to put the moose out of its misery.

  • Your dad's a champ and i really ejoy all of ur vids! Showing how beautiful norway (all of scandinavia as well basicly) is, making me wanna go there even more

  • thats some stupide moose

  • cool story +5

  • yea poor moose lets just hit in the face a few times with a hatchet.

  • You haven't read the comments? Haven't you? How about lying in the forrest with a broken back till you die of cold, blod loss, something feeding on you etc.?

Better to give a fast dead to the poor moose.

  • how come only one leg was taken, what about the rest of the meat?

  • Realy cool story, nice :)

  • thanks for that image

  • wait so did it die AFTER you guys started filming or before?

  • yea nice piece of meat :) Id like to try it xD

  • poor ass moose

  • wow what part of norway you live in? you live in a beautiful place , i go snowboarding at skeikampen every year but the place you live in is breathtaking

  • That's pretty sick looking.

  • i got some more raw potato cannon video but want more before i post a new video. next weekend me and my potato buddy is going out shooting after 1 year apart. looking forward too it so expect some new video\videos in the near future :)

  • great video, thanks for that. ur dad really knows his stuff out there.

  • i would have played guitar with the leg

  • ahahah hva en tilbakestående elg

  • I love Norway, always wanted to go there.

People say that Iceland is the same but it really, really, really isnt. Im from Iceland btw

    And nice find.

  • thats all the meat you took?????? man, i wouldda taken at least both rear legs

  • That may have been all the meat that was worth taking. You do not want to eat bruised meat. The fall probably ruined most of it. Like a deer hit by a truck. Very little of the deer is edible after such trauma.

  • yes thats true. and another thing if you get just a little hint of gut destruction its also not the smartest thing to use any of the meat that has been in contact with the guts. atleast so my dad tells me :)

  • Yes, that is also true. It is because the stomach fluids begin the digestion process on the meat it comes into contact with and there is no effective way to wash it from meat contaminated by it. You do NOT want to consume ANY digestive juices of any animal, unless you like explosive diarrhea.

  • lol?

  • lol he started singing hi-ho at the end. The dad had the right idea. I'd have done the same.

  • Vegatarian: An old Indian word for Lousy Hunter

  • Poor moose, but i guess thats nature

  • this isn't anything like Happy Tree Friends.

Good you took the poor thing out of its misery, it's good you found it right after the accident instead of it just freezing to death.

  • great job, I am glad you got a free moose now quit being so lazy and help your dad once in a while...

  • I must say that this was a good video :)

  • wouldnt you get in trouble or you dont need a license and tag to harvest the animal

  • haha direkte oversetting da "mountainside" = fjellside XD

    its called a cliff :P

  • Funker fint å si "mountain side"

  • I'll be carefull not to fall down around you guys!

  • hahahaha

  • thats sick but i have one question.... why did u only take one leg when u could have taken 2 or all 4? please write back ..haha i want to know ... lol

  • you can only eat so much moose its quite alot to put in the freezer if it isnt cold enuff outside

  • Awesome!

  • holy crap man that is some pretty crazy video thats alot to beat it like that but as a hunter u guys know about the suffering u heard that from a long distancce away.

it doesnt seem that steep in the vid but im sure it is

  • Thats a crazy video, It's brutal but thats the way nature is.

  • you only took one quarter? moose is really good to eat, Ive "harvested" two moose in the past 3 years. (I get lucky on the moose permit drawings). BTW that is a very small moose, moose up my way(Maine, USA) get around 800-1200 lbs. that look like its barely 300 lbs....cool vid thou

  • It looked to me like a baby. We hit one with a camper in BC, Canada about that size as it and it's mother ran across the road in front of us to get away from wolves. We barley missed the 1000+ pound momma but baby ran right into us.

  • looks like its a young one tho mot much older than maybe a year

  • great footage and good eats ;)

  • wow how the hell did he fall? lol

  • he tripd bless him or he was suicadal

  • The poor basterd..... i hope he did not suffer to much

  • Amazing footage.

Job well done with the moose. WTG.

I wonder what made it fall?

  • Ouch... poor moose. That was a pretty brutal video. I'm happy for your dad to put the moose out of it's misery. I would have done the same thing, and my friend is a professional hunter so he would have gotten the leg off as well.

  • This is incredible footage

  • BTW, lite kjøtt dere tok med dere.

  • Ordentlig spagat!

  • u guys handeled that very well. there wasnt hope of saving its life so u put it out of its pain and suffering and than u made use of the remains. i wish americans handled things like you guys did. but we fuss over lawes too much food is food we should take advantage of it without getting laws involved and somtimes we should rely on our selfs being humane instead of calling the cops to do it for us.

  • well you know what if you are caught while harvesting an animal out of season or with out a tag the local department of wild life will confiscate anything that was used for the harvest of the animal. the guns you own or that are in your posetion, the vehicles, the animal itself, they take away your right to hunt, and slap you with a fine so big it will make you cry

  • Not in Norway.

If a moose is, for example, hit by a train, the one who finds it has the right to take it.

I´m pretty sure the same applies here (correct me if I´m wrong).

  • in the usa if you find a dead animal you are not allowed to keep it unless you are told you could by the local wildlife organization

  • Doubt theres much left if it gets hit by a train xD

  • Good man Good man Good sportsmen never your dad did the right thing.

  • Ja.....

  • what luck well for you..... these damd things are allover the back roads here in alberta canada. hit one with your truck its ok shoot one out of season and your hooped...lol check out some of my vids made a few potato cannons plus theres just funny stuff on there to! all the best from canada!

  • very cool that you ate it instead of cried over it like a bleeding heart activist. You guyes in Norway are cool, an american would have called the cops, the game warden, and probably tried to give it mouth to mouth, but you guys just wack it on the head to put it out of its misery, take it home cook it up, we could learn a thing or two from you guys. and your tater guns freaking RULE. PS, i couldnt find "making potato gun ep 2"??

  • the second potato tutorial video is back on track. i had used a music track that was copyrighted and well i do that in all my videos and rules are rules so i had to fix that, anyway.. video back online :)

  • soooooo sad

  • Nice video, and beautiful country!

  • glad to see it not go to waste.

  • what does moose taste like? compared to deer?

  • better than deer

  • it taste like a miksture of beef and some pig not much but some

  • good eatin tonight

  • its a shame it had to die like that but at least it did not go to waste, and might i say beautiful country side!

  • its quite beutiful in norway :P

  • this video makes me want to eat.

  • Nice moosemeat is the best meat! i live in northern sweden and around here we are hunting a lot of moose, and this week i shot my first moose when i was out and hunt whit my dad. and iam only 15years old so thats pretty good.

  • looks yumy

  • Poor moose. Good for you but yeah.. why just one leg?

Never tasted moose though... how does it taste like?

  • Im not 100% sure why my dad didnt think we should take the hole elk with is but some of the meat was pretty beat up and bloody because of the fall and i guess its not the easiest job to get out all the meat. i also remember my dad taking out the beef rib steak. the "goodstuff" you might say :)

im not sure how to explain the taste but if you cook some potatoes and cut them to eatable pieces and cut a onion and roast that with some elk meat and when its done put some sayasause in it. YUM! :)

  • nice video! But why did u make a fire? To keep bears away, or so??

Why only take one legg? The entire animal looked jummy ;)

    cool upload, thx

  • hehe
