When i play Counter strike source and end gaming the the hl2.exe dont close then i go task manager and click end hl2.exe it dont close it! So i have to restart computer. HELP?

eh some usefull information, but this feels more like a laggremover rather than freezeremover.

I only have video freezes. started 2 or 3 days ago some video pauses and the audio keeps playing. kinda annoying, but no biggie :/

Well this is load of crap, i can't do anything if my computers frozen can i? Like delete things, watch videos! I cant even frickin scan viruses using anti viruses so... What can i do now? I'm lucky enough to have an ipod which has wifi to watch this video! Another thing ever Ctrl Alt Delete freezes up! I'm soo gonna buy an Apple computer?!

@MsLoveMusic1997 this applies to you as well. also, your computer may be overheating due to overclocking or dust (of course, if you're even contemplating buying a mac you probably don't even know what overclocking is).

ok guys im just 13 yrs old but my cousin is a computer technician the reason is why your comp is freezing and this are the cause:

1.the fan are full of dust

2.registry errors

3. or the new installed hard disk or any devices

4.some programs

5. your disk space must have more than 20%

try to use a registry cleaner

Never disable a program from starting up if you don't know what it is. That is not a smart move. Make sure it is a program that you can disable without having adverse affects on your computer. Do some research before you go clicking through the startup.

lol he is aswell. Plus i think everyone knows the ctrl alt del trick plus if your pc is properly frozen that aint gonna work. Plus your a reall pc tech not having a anti virus i know cuz thats that little windows security alert symbol that is only there when your anti virus is either gone or messed up

my 5 month old computer freezes when i play flight simulator x. My pc is good enough to play that game on ultra high settings, i used to play it all day and all night, and then i just started freezeing and i had to hold down the power buttion, i have Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz and a 8.00GB ram on windows vista 64-bit.
