Oh man, I was a kid in the 1980s when Disney Channel was brand new, and my little sister and I would watch this on Christmas Eve when it would air. It was really so magical for us. Classic Disney is STILL the best!!!

Oh wow. This was the very first vhs tape my mother bought me. Watching it brings back so many memories! Thank you so much for posting this. haha one of my favorite parts is when the girl got mad at her boyfriend xD Her dress has like five layers plus a hoop thing! Damn how did girls wear those things?? @frso I think you're talking about a tv presentation called "Mickey's Christmas Carol". Aside from the Disney version of Dickens classic, it also contained several Christmas and/or winter themed cartoons. One of them was Chip and Dale, whose tree gets chopped down by Mickey and decorated for Christmas. There is a scene where one of them is playing with toys under a tree. Perhaps that's it?

my mother had taped this program off the Disney channel for me when I was maybe 2 years old. it really takes you back watching it after such a long time. Christmas inevitably loses some of its magic when you get older, but this actually made it feel like Christmas again when I watched it after 20 years. I'm glad that I'll be able to pass it along to my children one day by putting it on DVD from my 25-year old VHS. since Disney can't be nostalgic like this anymore, it's up to people like us!

I've only seen parts of this before but I agree with DaisyDutches. Besides these days cartoons and other children/familyprograms are so poor and cheap that I don't even bother to watch anymore. Even Disney cranks out such a rubbish... *sigh*
